BOOTS ON THE BATHROOM MIRROR

I took this hotel for a DAY USE ago (this is day use since I had to be stuck in Caracas for almost 12 hours while waiting for the next flight), the truth is that the transfer bus is gloomy, falling apart. Once we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist gave us perfect attention and gave us a larger room than the one reserved. Interior room, no bugs, period. The bathroom with snot on the bathroom mirror, old pillows. The AACC worked just enough, dirt everywhere. Luckily it was to pass the time. I wouldn't have spent the night there. NOT RECOMMENDABLE. I am a professional in the sector and the truth is that in terms of health, that hostel should be closed. The only thing that is saved is the Staff, which, as happens in all establishments, is what keeps the business going.

Good for a short city layover

This is a safe, reliable hotel which is good for a short layover in Caracas. You are met my friendly and trustworthy staff at Maiquetia airport who will take you straight to the hotel in a taxi. There is a restaurant and all the general amenities you would expect from an airport hotel. Whatever you do, don't leave the hotel grounds at night as it is situated in a very unsafe area of the city. As long as you stay within the grounds you will be absolutely fine. Also, Spanish does help because the staff spoke next to no English.

Reliable option near the airport

Over the course of two years while living in Venezuela, we stayed at La Parada a handful of times. Their pick-up service is always waiting at the information counter in the airport, the rooms are always clean, and the check-in process is relatively smooth. On one occasion, the hotel was overbooked, and we were brought to another hotel. While we did not like the second option as much as La Parada, it was fine for a night, and they picked us up on time for the airport in the morning. It is an inexpensive option for a comfortable bed, with a reasonable amount of airport hotel noise.
