great value and ambience

stayed here 20 years ago and this was the only resort in Da Nang. But still going strong, perfect location and great staff

Deplorable - unless money is poured into this property I would choose another resort.

Deplorable!! If I could give this review a zero I would. Owned by the Saffron Group from India. Vietnamese staff are kind and friendly but the clientele were rude. I realize this is a cultural difference but the owners have also not put money into this property in years!
Most photos on this site are either posted by management or are years old. One lady said from 2018 the place was nice but needed updating. That is an understatement now!!!
We are a group of 5. We arrived late in the evening. The lobby seemed nice but in the light of day it is tired and worn.
Got to our beachfront bungalows to find very run down accommodations:
1. The rooms did not come with a safe. They had to deliver one which they just placed in the bottom of the closet. Could be carried away by anyone at any time.
2. There were 3 of us staying in the room. They gave me a cot that had a 2 inch foam mattress that was extremely hard. We asked for an additional mattress or topper and they provided a 6 inch mattress that they laid on top and I slept ok. That wouldn’t have been so bad until we looked at the mattress in the morning. Molded, filthy, ripped!!!! It looked like it was removed from a dumpster and reused!!
(See pics) The top sheet was stained as well.
3. The floors were also filthy. We understand the room is beachfront but we were only in the room 5 minutes and my feet were covered in sand and dirt.
4. 1/2 roll of toilet paper (no extra rolls). The doors of the vanity were falling off and distressed.
(The view of the beach was amazing but unfortunately our friend’s bungalow was no better than ours.)
5. Breakfast was sub par.
6. The dining room for dinner was not open when we walked through to go to breakfast but it looked like it should be condemned! Ceiling tiles missing, light fixtures were broken, rusted beams, missing windows.
7. Pool was run down with broken tiles.
We contacted our tour company who reached out to management.
Mr Quoc Long (Guest services)
was extremely apologetic and was sad that and he couldn’t do anything about our situation. He really wanted to help us and he did offer to bring us another mattress but our stay was already tainted. (My question to him was: if you have another mattress why didn’t I get a better one in the first place?)
He said he would pass all of our concerns on to his supervisor but gave us the impression that it was beyond his control with the Saffron group owners.
Front desk staff also seemed embarrassed by what we encountered.
Bottom line… unless money is poured into this property I would choose another resort!!!

The room was spot cleaned and refreshed daily. Staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests despite the occasional translation errors.
The Spa staff Anha and Lien are very proud of the excellent services they offer.
Breakfast was varied and predictably delicious with the kitchen serving staff offering great recommendations.
We were somehow upgraded to a sea view balcony which served as a great transition zone from beach to dinner or late evening wind down.

good value for money room and location wise but absolute wastage of money if ur looking for good service, completely unsincere staff, my checkout process got delayed so much that i had to carry all my baggage and got late for airport

Superb!

We had a really enjoyable stay here for two weeks. Everything was amazing. The Staff were professional and genuinely friendly. First holiday I’ve had where I didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to going back next April.
