Vietnam captured my heart

Vacationing with husband and child (8 years old) in Vietnam for the first time. Hotel Xavia chose solely on location and reviews. The hotel is nice, the staff does not speak or understand Russian at all. We communicated through an interpreter. But always smile and try to help with any questions. I want to warn you right away that when checking into a room, it is better to film everything (I mean having mugs, cups and spoons). So there's no problem with eviction .Lived on the ninth floor, Premium room. The room is super, big, spacious. The daughters put in an extra bed. Balcony is large and chic sea view) In room and bath and shower. Cleaning every day, supplies brought every day. The towels are white, clean. The bed was changed four times in two weeks. Breakfast isn't great, to be honest. But they didn't go hungry. Sea across the street, a few minutes. There is a pedestrian crossing (which is very important in Vietnam). Places are many and much quieter than downtown. Downstairs good shops with prices less than in the center, there and changed money for dongs. The hotel gives beach towels at any time, you can change wet to dry several times a day. Also the staff offered umbrellas when we couldn't go outside because of the rain, which was unexpectedly nice) . Will we go back again and this hotel? Unequivocally yes, and in three weeks

Hotel experience mixed

From the downside:
Mold in the bathroom, tropical rain out, broken tiles, water running out of the shower to the toilet.
There's bloated laminate in the room, mold on the curtains, very dusty hoods.
- All textiles (beds, towels, beach towels, curtains) or in stains or holes or all together. That was the most unpleasant discovery.
- the gym is small, all the basic exercise equipment on your hands.
Breakfast glasses used to be dirty.
On the plus side:
- The air conditioning works well, the basic details (toothbrushes, etc.) are present and updated daily. Bathrobes, hair dryers, slippers, too.
The staff are friendly.
It's very quiet all around, you'll sleep well, the bed is huge, soft.
Breakfast, though not rich, but you won't stay hungry, very much liked the soups, the juice from the monk's fruit resembled a mix from childhood, very delicious.

Fancy vacation

Nice cozy hotel, nice sea view and very close to the sea.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The quality, professionalism, attention to the detail were outstanding. Everything exceeded our expectations and the customer service was friendly, responsive & genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. The only thing we thought was the food service setups for the hot food could use more space to allow room to set the plate down while getting food to avoid spilling and potentially a safety hazard like burns. Definitely we will be back!!

The floor are dirty. We put the bath towel at the bathroom door way to dry our feet because the bath floor is flooded after the shower. Interesting part is they charged us $50.000 VND for cleaning the towel or disposal it.
Second the waiting area is hot, I don’t feel any air conditioning.
Third the safety box is not working and the outlet in the bathroom will not work for the hair dry. We did not complaint because we only stay for 1 night.
I gave 2 stars because of the restaurant clean and the food is not the best but good for the the price. The staff is nice.
I write this review is the hotel policy. I have no complaint the about the staff.
