Great Albanian hospitality!

What a pleasant surprise Casa Gace hotel in Korca was! Situated high above the city, the sceneries were lovely and a refreshing change from being in the city. Although only a few staff could speak English, they were all so hospitable and made efforts to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious as was their dinners. Our rooms were comfortable and even had a small refrigerator. We were so surprised when a bottle of wine was gifted to us at check out. Their Albanian hospitality was greatly appreciated!

Noisy, smoky and salty restaurant

Deafeningly loud music, smoke-filled restaurant with people chain-smoking next to children and even babies – unbelievable in this century. The steaks were overly salty, both the wine sauce and the cheese one. Truly an unpleasant and unacceptable dining experience. Never again!

Lots of beautiful music and joy, with little room for dancing.

I was only at the restaurant for the New Year's Eve 2024, nice environment and very clean, I saw and heard a nice music band singing the beautiful romantic and love music of the Korca area which is well known in Albania for these songs , the food not up to expectations, however I have noticed this in many restaurants also in Italy and other countries for the holidays, lots of joy at the nod but no space for dancing, I think that "given the price around 100 euros per person, they tried to exploit as much as possible."

DO NOT GO THERE TO EAT DINNER

This was the worst place I have ever been in Korca. I reserved in the restaurant around 4 days before because they told me it was a busy place. The waitress were not polite at all. We ordered what we wanted to eat and they brought us completely different stuff and kept saying that this is what we ordered and this is how they serve it, but it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. Prices? Very very overpriced for what they offered. Hygiene? It doesn’t exist in this place. We came to Albania for a couple of days and we choose Korca to spend a night, but they ruined our holidays. Korca got a lot waaay more better places than this one. And it wasn’t just our problem, even the tables next to us had the same complaint. So do your self a favor and do not go to this place, avoid it.

Amazing stay with the loveliest staff, very comfortable room and great breakfast and dinner. The view is just spectacular. Highly recommend to stay here. The drive to town is just 4 minutes and the owner and staff will do everything they can to make you feel at home.
