Friendly, Clean and Comfortable.

Hostel was very clean, staff were incredibly friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable.
Stayed in a private room that was very comfortable throughout the duration of my 4 night stay.
Common room was a great place to relax in the evening and all were welcomed to join in card games or just general conversation.
If I had to say 1 negative it would be that it can get noisy outside in the evenings but that didn't stop me from sleeping well. Maybe bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
Special thanks to Hannah, Jessica and Camille (hope i got your names right). These girls were a credit to this hostel. Genuinely lovely folk.

Terrible communication and false information

Wanted to share my experience for future guests staying to see. I booked with this hostel for July 12th-16th. On July 7th I realized no transportation was available to bring me to Lisbon in the 12th so I emailed the hostel asking to change my reservation to the 13th and informed them I would arrive around 7:30am on the 13th. The staff emailed me back telling me that it was possible to change but recommending me to keep my booking on the 12th because if I changed to the 13th my bed wouldn’t be ready until 3pm. So I agreed to keeping my booking on the 12th with the understanding that I could still come on the 13th at 7:30am and my bed would already be ready from the day before. Well I receive an email from the hostel that my reservation has been released because I didn’t show up on the 12th. I emailed back explaining the conversation I had earlier with one of the employees and explained I still needed the booking and was not sure why it got cancelled because they informed me it would be okay to come on the 13th even with my booking in the 12th. They replied back with a typical corporate response of they followed all their policies and because the reservation wasn’t changed in the system to the 13th then it’s been released and I can make a new booking even though they’ve already charged me the first night “no show” fee. So the communication of this hostel is not clear and they are giving false information to their guests and showing no sympathy for negative situations they caused and taking no accountability for giving me false information and recommending me to keep my booking, knowing their policy doesn’t allow for that. I do not recommend staying at a place with such terrible business practices. I will attach pictures of the email correspondence for reference.

Lovely private room but some inconveniences

We stayed in a private room here with an en-suite. The room and ensuite were lovely, and staff helpful. Air con was good, the bed was comfy except pillows were a bit hard. Bring earplugs as it can get noisy in the evenings/nights as it is a hostel. Staff said that communal areas closed at 11pm so it wouldn’t be noisy, but this was not monitored and it was loud until early hours of the morning. Our room also had a gap under the door which let noise travel through easily. The cleaners were unfriendly and had a bad attitude, and late checkout not communicated to them. Other than that, brilliant location, and would recommend for a short trip to Lisbon.

Inn Possible Lisbon hostel

Really nice hostel, comfortable beds, good facilities, great breakfast. It was a couple blocks from the subway, so city access was good. I was in a 10 person dorm, that was airy and spacious. The bathrooms were a a little crowded at peak times, I just had to adjust my schedule.

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT

When I came back from exploring the city, tired and late at night, a guy was sleeping in my bunkbed. I had my stuff there but he seemed drunk and to have come along with friends from the same room. I went downstairs to complain and after knocking on the office door, the receptionist woke up and opened the door. I explained what happened and he said it was impossible. We went up to the room and the guy was already hiding in the toilet room. He was forced to come out and he finally left the building. I asked to be put in a different room as I was already uncomfortable with the situation and the last thing I wanted was not being able to sleep as I would be surrounded by this guy's mates. He said everything was fully booked, he could not help me out getting another room there or anywhere else and he could not refund the money back. I asked to speak with a manager and he said he couldn't have called him as he was asleep. When I had to find my ways to get through a manager that night, this guy called Mario, was not able to help me out either. I had to leave that place, my mobile was dead but fortunately I hired a car, so I slept inside it for that night.
The answer is no, I would not recommend this place, not because of the facilities or cleanliness but due to the bad experience with customer service at all levels. I hope this helps.
