Old room but impeccable service

The room was quite old, and while the service was impeccable, the breakfast excellent, and the view truly stunning, there were several aspects that detracted from the overall experience. Both the room and the bathroom felt very dated, with noticeable wear that could benefit from refurbishment. The air conditioning was automatic and provided the same temperature in every room, which made it difficult to adjust to personal comfort preferences.
In addition to the accommodations, the gym left much to be desired. The gym material was in poor condition, and it was clear that many clients did not put the equipment back after use. Some guests also failed to respect the equipment, leaving it scattered or mishandled. It would be highly recommended for the hotel to address this issue by including clear rules in the gym policy, reminding clients to handle the materials properly and return them after use. Implementing these rules would greatly improve the fitness experience for all guests.
Overall, while the hotel provided excellent service and beautiful views, improvements in the room’s condition, the air conditioning system, and the gym management would significantly enhance the quality of the stay.

Excellent service and rooms, but poor kitchen

Overall, the hotel experience is positive. The service was good, the staff very polite and attentive. The waiters are wonderful, friendly and have always tried to help. The rooms are comfortable, clean and comfortable to live in.
Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We tasted the Azerbaijani pilaf - it turned out to be tacky, there was no butter inside, the characteristic taste of the dish was missing. The rice was dry and unleavened (photo attached).
Also didn't like the fruit. They were very laid up, not fresh, tasteless, part of the fruit looked tired and dried (photo attached).
Except for the food, everything was great. If you improve the quality of the kitchen and the freshness of the food, the hotel can become truly beautiful.

Not a 5-Star Experience

I stayed one night in a two-bedroom cottage at Gabala Garden Hotel. Although the hotel is considered a 5-star property, in my opinion it does not meet even 4-star standards, and the money spent there was not worth it.
The beds were very uncomfortable — old, deformed, and not suitable for proper sleep. The extra beds were in the same poor condition. Room supplies were very limited; there was not enough tea, water, or coffee provided.
There was only one very old LG TV in the living room without any modern entertainment systems, and there were almost no TV channels to watch. The bedrooms did not have TVs at all. In general, the whole hotel seems to be using these old TVs, which is not compatible with 5-star hotel standards.
The quality and variety of breakfast products and meals were also weak. SPA and pool services were mostly out of order during our stay, so there was very little to enjoy in terms of facilities.
Overall, there are very few positive things to mention. This was my last visit to this hotel.

Good Hotel

Just the ok hotel.
The staff doesn't understand English much.
For one night it was good .
Huge property.
Food is just ok
But pricing is good
For kids activities we were asked to pay .
That was weird.
