super great accommodation

here just fits everything, great room with great bed and great bathroom with very good shower, great terrace, great hostess, and super delicious breakfast. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime

Fantastic Trip to Ypres

We stayed 3 nights March 2024 and it was absolutely fabulous! Our hostess made us very welcome, all spotlessly clean, fab breakfast and rolls to takeaway for lunchtime. It's a great location to pay your respects at the WW1 war graves and to visit the museums. Ypres is a wonderful town with excellent local restaurants, chocolate shops and obviously the Menin Bridge with the 8pm "Last Post" every evening. It was a shame that the bridge is currently covered for renovations but this didn't detract from the experience. The location was also perfect to visit Bruges for a day ...which was well worth doing. Our host also gave us the tip to park at the station In Bruges for ease and price. We had a wonderful stay, totally recommend!

Fantastic B&B close to Ypres

Our stay 16/17-09-23 in this beautiful B&B was really fantastic!
Clean and spacious room + bathroom, very extensive and delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home-baked apple pie on Sunday.
Katja is a very friendly hostess and has provided us with sufficient information to explore the "Flandren Fields" region around Ypres and the numerous cemeteries of WWI, decorated with flowers.
The "Yorkshire Trench & Dugout" trench is the only one in the Westhoek still in its original location, 4 minutes from the B&B and a little further away is the "Essex Farm Cemetery", decorated with beautiful flowers. Along the 30 km short car route around Ypres, the "Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Bedford House Cemetery" is highly recommended. During our walk in the "Provincial domain Palingbeek" with various rest areas with video presentations about WWI and the canal issues, we were even more aware of the devastation on the battlefield, which is still clearly visible in the landscape with the various bomb craters. This beautiful weekend and the "Last Post" at the Menin Gate left a deep impression.

Top B&B run by a very hospitable hostess!

What a wonderful and warm welcome. The hospitality radiates from the hostess. She does this with a lot of passion and care. Very quietly located rooms with every comfort. A delicious, extensive breakfast and you can take any leftovers with you for lunch. Ideal location to discover Ypres and the surrounding area from here. Top location

Very warm welcome, setting cut off from the rest and truly top-notch room with royal breakfast! Thanks again. I highly recommend this place and I'll keep it aside for next time who knows!
