The hotel owner is very friendly, beautiful room.
Good location but not suitable for travelers with big luggage because small and rough alley, bridges and stairs.
The hotel owner’s cats are beautiful.
The hotel owner recommended us a very very very good driver from the hotel to train station, he offered us an extremely good services and price, that’s why we paid him 2 times the price he offered.

A really interesting place to stay in the heart of the old town, the Boss is extremely enthusiastic and cute, in general there is nothing to complain about ❤️ will come back on the next vacation

We were only able to stay at Mulan.Huayue for a couple of nights but my son and I did enjoy our stay very much for several reasons. First, the owners are very welcoming, thoughtful and accommodating - even for two visitors who were a bit tired and grumpy after a long trip! Second, the accommodation itself is very beautifully laid out, and the attention to detail and design including the incorporation of traditional style with modern updates is notable. Third, the water town is charming, quiet after hours, and so relaxing to stroll around. The shops are cute and lovely. We sadly did not have enough time to fully check it out! So sorry. Fourth, all in all, this charming water town being so close to Suzhou and Shanghai makes it a wonderful option for travelers looking to get a rest from the big cities. Thank you!

Located within the ancient town so you need to get the entry ticket to enter and let them know you’re staying there. They will provide a 3 day pass for those who are staying in the ancient town. The walk in was around 10mins but the pathway is rough and uneven so those with heavy luggage may find it hard lugging it around while finding the hotel especially since you will need to cross the bridge. Hotel entrance is a wooden door between two shops so keep your eyes open when trying to find the place. That said, service was great and the rooms were clean and modern. There’s even a mascot (the cat) to entertain you!

Well, what a wonderful homestay. The location is perfect being next to the famous twin bridges. There is no shortage of things to buy and see . The homestay itself is beautiful with a perfect mix of ancient architecture on the outside whilst being tastefully modern and contemporary on the inside. Every area is immaculately clean and the host /owner is wonderfully warm and friendly. No question is too much and she always recommended the best things to see and do. I will absolutly stay here many more times and I would recommend anyone who is visiting this magical town , to stay at this homestay. It was perfect 🥰 the homestay also has a resturant of the same name. And the food is amazing and authentic to the area. Some of the most delicious food I've eaten in China
