Very nice stay

We liked our stay, and the location.
One thing we missed was the possibility to stream to the TV in the room, that was not possible, the TV is way too old.
Else we were very satisfied with everything else.

Cheap and top-notch

Sweet staff and good service.
Lovely spacious rooms.
The morning buffet is super delicious, something for all tastes and lots to choose from.
Cozy lounge with good service in the evening.
Nice with a smoking area outside with tables and chairs

A truly great and complete experience

We had a wonderful stay with the children in a family room. A fantastic hotel. The room was pleasant, neat, and clean. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The only slight downside is that the hotel uses a payment service that lets you choose the currency; unfortunately, I selected Euros (instead of DKK) too quickly, which resulted in paying an extra 5%.

As for the payment solutions and the mentioned 5%; we believe is not a Scandic margin or profit, but rather a banking charge. Local currency is always the best option.

Scandic is better then this.

Angry staff, not towel on room, need ask. Smal breakfest. Aircon can not be adjust in room need go resepsjen.

Dear guest.
Thank you for your valid feed back, some of which we will look at with great effort. We ar howover one of the only hotels in Aalborg providing Aircondition all together. Once a mayor renovation of our ventilation system is decided, we will be able to offer regulation in the rooms. Our large breakfast buffet is ratet amongst top 3 in Denmark at Scandic, and fully in line with all other Danish Scandic hotels. There might be adifferent selection in Norway. The missing towels is clearly a human mistake to which we are very sorry. We will loon into the comment about our staff, angry staff is a very rare comment at our hotel.

Standard scandic near the center.

A regular Scandic hotel, so you know what you're getting. Nothing special, but certainly not bad either. We had a problem with the smell in the room. We had to change immediately, but even in that room it smelled bad. However, only in the bathroom in room 2, so we left it alone to avoid having to change again. They were accommodating, but perhaps they should have offered some kind of compensation if it smelled bad in two rooms after each other?
The room was clean and the breakfast was good. A short walk to town and quiet, but a bit seedy, location. However, it is not their land so that it looks a bit worn out in the outdoor car parks they can not do anything about.
3.5 is perhaps fairer than 3.
