Great location
Check in like a treasure hunt. Find the gate, let yourself in, find the lock box, enter code as the sensor light kept turning off so you are in the dark, find the door and then your room.
Room had what is required. Bed, kitchen, fridge, clothes washing machine, things required for self catering to cook.
Bathroom was so tiny. You had to step over the toilet to get to the shower. If you have mobility issues I wouldn't book this place. Has a heated towel rack but couldn't find off button. It was on all the time and I constantly burnt myself trying to move around bathroom.
Would I book again? Probably not.

Sufficient
The entrance is not the best.
Late check in and early check out.

During the shower, water gets everywhere.

DON’T GO HERE!
- The following was NEVER indicated; I happened to read it on a note in the apartment:
- There is no cleaning service during your stay, and you have to pay €40 per hour extra for it. Should I also charge €40 per hour for the extra time I’ve spent? Worst service I’ve ever had.
- You have to dispose of and separate your own trash.
- The lock is very cheap, and it's unclear how to set it properly so you know it’s locked. There’s only a small chain attached to it.
- There are no cameras anywhere, which doesn’t give a sense of security.
- You’re not allowed to make noise between 10 PM and 7 AM, not even to take a shower!
Other negative points:
- The toilet is crooked and gets wet every time I shower. In the picture, the toilet was straight, which would make showering much easier. I filed a complaint about this and received the response, "The apartment should match the picture we provided," which didn’t help me at all.
- After showering or lying in bed for a few hours, I get way too warm. There’s no air conditioning, the window didn’t seem to open (I didn’t want to push too hard for fear of breaking it and losing my €200 deposit!), and while there is a fan, it doesn’t help much and is quite noisy.
- The bathroom cabinets are very loud.
- The water from the shower doesn’t get very warm.
- The knob to switch between the shower and regular faucet doesn’t work well. If you bump into it slightly, which happens in such a small shower, you’ll spend time fiddling with it to set it correctly again.
- There’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom, so I have to do my hair elsewhere.
- There’s no trash bin in the bathroom.
- There are only two large towels and two for the floor; an extra one for the toilet would have been nice.
- Check-in isn’t until 3 PM (the latest I’ve ever experienced), and check-out MUST be before 10 AM (the earliest I’ve ever experienced).
- On September 1st, they had already deducted the €200 deposit, and on September 8th, they attempted to charge it again, even though I had already paid. Moreover, I left everything in good condition, so I found it very inappropriate for them to attempt to charge me without informing me or providing a valid reason! Fortunately, after contacting them, I got my money back within a few hours. Still, it was stressful to deal with.
- There is no service desk where you can ask questions; everything must be done by phone, and you’re not helped immediately, of course.
- Someone tried to enter my room at 9:45 PM on a Wednesday while I was inside. It was probably a mistake, as I heard footsteps go one floor down, and then a door closed. Still, it didn’t feel right, especially when traveling alone in a foreign country.
- All in all, I spent a lot of extra time and effort just to stay here. Should I also charge €40 per hour for all the extra trouble I had to go through?
Other negative point, unrelated to the hotel:
- At the McDonald’s in Kamppi, I was harassed by a guy on a Saturday morning at 8:00 AM who wouldn’t leave me alone. I ended up calling my mom, hoping he’d leave me alone, and then I left. Be careful in this area, especially if you’re traveling alone.
Positive points:
- The blinds are very good. I don’t wake up when it’s light outside.
- The bed is super comfortable. It’s soft and firm, and it reminds me of my own bed at home.
- The location is very convenient, close to Lidl (which is open until 11 PM), Kamppi shopping center, and many public transportation stops.
- Lots of power outlets (though only in the bedroom/kitchen).

Check in can be an issue
This is something to bear in mind if you are thinking of booking this apartment.
In the apartment, we found a dirty stained pillow but thankfully, there were others than were clean.
On the positive side, the apartment is well located to Kampii Station and shopping centre. There are good facilities like cooking, washing machine for clothes etc.
Also worth mentioning check out is 10am and you need to remove all the rubbish to the correct bins in the court-yard, so allow time for this as 10am is relatively early for check out.
Once we got over the stressful "check in" experience we did have a pleasant time staying here. We probably won't stay here again based on this experience.
