Very nice residence
The residence is very nice , we were out of season off weekends so it is quiet , the 20 deckchairs of the pool are more than enough and there is no rush to the buffet!
The staff is young and very pleasant even if it is deplorable that the lady of the concierge is not local and does not know (yet! ) the area. The hosts are very friendly!!
The apartment is very well appointed , very well equipped and everything looks new... well worth the 4 stars ( be careful! The hotel has only 3 ... it must be worse )
The sea is a stone's throw away , the town is 15 minutes walk.
We put this address aside for another stay!

The hotel room was not like the pictures and was quite worn. It also did not have a refrigerator. However, the room had good air conditioning, and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have proper duvets instead of just sheets, which many hotels use, and the pillows were also very comfortable.
The bar staff were very friendly, and the pool was very nice. Drinks at the bar were quite expensive, and breakfast was not included.
The hotel also had private parking. Unfortunately, another car hit the side of our car while it was parked and dented the door.

Pleasant stay with minor deductions in detail – Highly recommended with a few tips for future guests
We stayed for 6 nights as a couple at the Résidence Kaliopé and had an overall very nice and successful stay. The Résidence stands out mainly due to its fantastic location and great room amenities, but there is still some room for improvement in the areas of gastronomy and room description.
Accommodation & Amenities
Our room was modernly furnished, very clean, and pleasantly spacious. A major plus is the excellently equipped kitchenette in the living/dining area (with a sofa bed, dining table, and 4 chairs), which offers not only hot plates, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment but also a dishwasher. There was also sufficient cutlery, glasses, and cooking utensils available. The room features a separate bedroom and a sufficiently large bathroom. A small downside: The bed was a bit narrow for two people, and unfortunately, there was only one large comforter per bed/sofa that had to be shared.
An absolute highlight was the two terraces: Each was equipped with two chairs, a table, and two personal sun loungers. Additionally, there was a drying rack available.
While the room itself is top modern renovated, the rest of the hotel complex is somewhat aging – a new coat of paint on the buildings would not hurt soon, but it did not negatively affect our stay.
Important tip for booking a room: We originally booked the studio/one-bedroom apartment with a garden view. The pictures on the internet show a kitchen including a dishwasher – however, this is not available in this room category contrary to the photos! One should definitely read the text description carefully here. After consulting with the hotel, we were able to rebook in advance.
Location, Service & Parking
The location is simply fantastic – right on the beach and just a short walk from the city center. Despite the central location, it was wonderfully quiet in the area.
The check-in process was absolutely smooth and very friendly. We were given a thorough explanation and were even personally escorted to our room. The reception seemed to be staffed around the clock, in our impression. Officially, check-in is only possible from 5:00 PM, which is quite late (though not unusual in the French context). All staff members were consistently very accommodating and friendly.
The hotel-owned parking costs a fair $8 per night and should be booked in advance. It is sufficiently large, and access is conveniently possible at any time via a PIN code. A small, minor note: Due to the many trees, sticky resin drips onto the cars, so the windows may be a bit dirty the next day.
Points of criticism (Dining & TV)
Here we unfortunately see the greatest potential for improvement:
The breakfast ($16 per person): For this price, it was unfortunately very uninspired and monotonous, as there was exactly the same rather mediocre selection every day. There were at most two types of cold cuts and cheese – especially for France, which is known for its cheese variety, this is quite disappointing. Additionally, the cheese had some dry spots as early as 7:30 AM (the start time is 7:00 AM). Otherwise, there was toast, baguette (no rolls), jams, pancakes, crêpes, and a rather inedible scrambled egg. The only real highlight was the show cooking, where you could order fresh omelets or fried eggs directly from the chef. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is not right here.
Dinner (30 € per person plus drinks): The dinner includes a starter and dessert buffet, grilled items, and a main course. On Monday (arrival day), we wanted to book spontaneously, but it was already fully booked for half the week – we only got a table for Saturday. One books the table completely blind for the future, without knowing in advance what will be offered on the specified evening. Since there is a fixed selection of only 3 main courses on site, one simply has bad luck if none of the dishes appeal to them that day.
TV program: There are about 30 channels in the room, but exclusively in French. A few German or at least English-speaking channels would be timely for international guests.
Conclusion
Despite the criticisms regarding the food, we had a great time. Those looking for a well-located, clean hotel with great terraces and good service, and who prefer to self-cater or eat out, will be very well accommodated here. We would definitely recommend the Résidence Kaliopé and would come back ourselves!

The rooms were very clean but on the small side. The pool area is probably the best of the property and is very pleasant with nice beds and an amazing view of the beach just in front. Location wise it is perfect, as it is a few minutes walk away from Le Lavandou village but spacious and with plenty of parking available.
