Not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel
I will skip the fact that I couldn't get the standard double bed room I had booked, that the lady at the front desk offered to "upgrade" me and put me in a queen room, and that in the end, I ended up in a room with 2 twin beds...
One morning, pieces of glass were at the base of a pool umbrella; I cut myself on them and bled. Very surprised to see that when I mentioned it to the daytime team, the manager apologized, certainly, but no commercial gesture for the inconvenience was offered (not even offering a drink, for example?). You were lucky that it happened to a customer like me, and not one of the many children present at the pool that morning. The end of the story would not have been the same, I think.
Finally, there are only 10 lounge chairs at the pool (for hundreds of guests), which means people "reserve" their lounge chairs with towels and leave for the whole day, just like at a campsite, ultimately. Furthermore, the hotel key card does not allow pool access for the vast majority of guests; fortunately, the security gentleman (or other guests!) took it upon themselves to open it whenever necessary, despite the fact that we had our badges re-encoded several times.
Despite everything, the restaurant service and the servers there are absolutely incredible, helpful, smiling, and it was really the positive point of this stay. The 3 stars are only for them.
Several different customer reviews align, management says they take note of them and that "this does not reflect the desired quality of service," yet visibly, there is no change.
