Dangerous and gross

I paid my reservation, arrived there we are told that no room is available, impossible to get refunded on site, we are left no choice to leave, we are without a hotel at 11:30 pm. In the hotel man cries bother everyone, a man went upstairs to fix the problem, a friend of the manager of the reception surely. We do not feel safe at all and it is disgusting just the reception then the condition of the rooms must be identical

There are better options.

A central location, the staff were quite nice but the hotel itself was not very pleasant. The rooms were grotty and felt more like a run down hostel than a hotel. There was no breakfast. If you have heavy luggage, there is no lift. The area is very busy and there were multiple ambulances going passed the window through out the night.

Not a good hotel to stay even for a night.

Overall experience is not very good. The hotel room provided didn't had bathroom and toilet doors. The room had bugs/ mosquitoes. The room is very hot. Its not very neat and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. But this might not just be enough.

Could be better

The location is absolutely perfect as it is a 5 minute walk away from the station, across the street from le Canebière and has 2 supermarkets and 2 bakeries nearby. All of this is what convinced us to ultimately stay in the hotel after the first night, but we decided to have our room changed. The price is good, I must admit, especially for having a complete bathroom ensuite, but when you're on vacation you always hope for something more.

Dont expect anything classy

I stayed there 2 nights alone and wouldnt stay there for more than that.
Pos: friendly staff, cheap, well located
Cons: this is a very old building so the general condition isnt so good, and furniture are really old, unconfortable bed, not so clean, can smell cigarett if the guy at the reception smokes (as a smoker i dont mind but can understand non smokers), toilets on a different floor (not so practical but i think they have rooms with toilets)
