Sea views and rooftop pool
Fabulous few days in Sète, very comfortable hotel and rooftop pool with views across the port and the Med were amazing! Staff were really welcoming and helpful, great hotel with sea views for a short or long break in this glorious town. We were also very lucky to be there when the Rassemblement National de Jouteurs de France was taking place, unbeknownst to us - a weekend of fun, laughter and great jousting from boats on the canal! Quite a spectacle!

Mixed bag and in my opinion, not worth the view.
There are two things going for this hotel - the unbelievable sea view (in a sea view room and on the rooftop) and the helpful, friendly staff. That's it.
The room is tired and in need of an update, new paint, and less damaged furniture. In their defense, it looks like they recently updated the bathroom. The a/c works intermittently, but not well and not in the bathroom or toilet. Not an issue if you aren't in the middle of a heatwave, but I was there during a heatwave. By the time the engineer came up, the a/c was working so there was nothing for him to adjust at that single moment. But then later on, it barely worked, and it was the same the next day - intermittently on and off. And you have no way to adjust or control it yourself.
I stayed away during the worst part of the heat because it was unreliable and unbearable when not working. They do not use the a/c, or barely use the a/c, in the rest of the hotel - so if you are used to a cool hotel when you are walking through it - fair warning.
Given that this is not a budget hotel - I paid 209 euros a night in June - the above is not acceptable.
I stayed at a hotel owned by the same parent hotel company in Montpellier for three nights before I came to this hotel, and the difference is night and day. So do not assume that because the owner of the hotel is this specific chain all of the hotels will be nice.
The area is incredibly busy and noisy. Not their fault, but good to know if you don't like that. Even with ear plugs it was a challenge.
The bed in the room I was in was rock hard and the pillows were overstuffed. If you like that - and many people do - you will be happy. If not, like me, you will have an even harder time sleeping.
You can pay for parking in their underground garage and it that was reasonable, but very tight. You can buy snacks and alcohol from the front desk to take up to the rooftop deck and enjoy the view, and that was nice. I did not partake of their breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.
They do not have a coffee maker in the room, just a kettle and instant coffee or tea. For a coffee person like me, that was not fun, but I was able to grab coffee from a vending machine in their lobby.
In the end, I found it unpleasant enough that I moved on three nights early and only stayed two nights, even though I had paid for five nights at 209 euros a night using points from a credit card. I would have moved on anyway, even if I had pre-paid with cash.

This hotel is good and in a very good position, it’s not perfect and they could improve with some really simple stuff.. breakfast good for continental options, pool good and the room was fine. Disappointing that there is no bar, they have a drinks service in reception but couldn’t then take to the pool. Also the night we were there, there was a World Cup game and we wanted to watch in bedroom with a beer but the night porter wouldn’t provide this. It suggests in the booklet that this is 24 hours but not sure if that’s just a typo.

Perfect location! Beautiful view of the Mediterranean and the pool area, though small, was lovely!

Pleasant weekend, very good establishment
Hotel very well located, a magnificent view from the rooftop, and a very varied breakfast! The pool on the terrace with a view of Sète is very beautiful! The standard room (6) is very spacious; the downside for me is that there is no fridge in the room, which is important in this heat to keep a bottle of water cool! The establishment is very pleasant and the staff is welcoming! A very enjoyable weekend to repeat.
