MEMORABLE STAY

Our Chin Gang of ten stayed here for a 3N/4D round of three golf games in Medan.
The hotel is close to a number of popular tourist stops.
The hotel staff speak good English and are very friendly and helpful.
Ms Anggi,a receptionist,went out of her way to provide information and help.
The food was good and value for money.

A Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay at Four Points by Sheraton Medan

Really enjoyed my stay at Four Points by Sheraton Medan. I’ve stayed here before, so coming back this time felt familiar in a good way—and I decided to go with the Junior Suite for a bit more space and comfort. The room itself was really spacious, with a nice classic-meets-modern vibe that feels both cozy and elegant at the same time.
One thing I really appreciated was how complete everything felt in the room. The facilities were well thought out, and the amenities were quite varied and actually useful, not just the basics. It made the whole stay feel more comfortable and effortless.
Outside the room, the facilities didn’t disappoint either. The pool area is spacious and has a nice city view, which makes it a great spot to just relax for a bit. The fitness centre is also well-equipped and properly maintained, so it’s easy to keep up with your routine. I also spent some time at the lounge and restaurant, and the food quality was solid with a good variety of options.
Overall, it was a really pleasant and easy stay. Everything just worked well, and it gave me the kind of comfort I was looking for—definitely a place I’d come back to again.

Should be good but need improvement

Second time to the city of Medan and first time staying here.
The check-in process was pretty smooth even though we had arrived a little late.
Getting a room on the 6th floor, the first impression of a deluxe room is quite spacious and good but less fresh because there is still the smell of apek (less delicious). Whereas for the bathroom should be good just love the shower has a lot of chocolate crust.
Internet connection (wifi), it could be said bad for this class hotel. DL speed is 10mbps while UL is not up to 1mbps so we can't do the job well. We contacted the hotel and promised to send a technician for inspection but no one arrived until almost 23:00. The next morning we made a complaint to the check-in staff. There was a repair.
For breakfast, the menu variation is sufficient...

A Short Stay at Four Points Medan

Stayed here 2 nights. Location on the edge of the highway. The room can be quite spacious for yourself. Comfortable bedrooms, available sofa chairs, and also a desk. The bathroom is also clean, hot water is ok. For the standard breakfast, unfortunately for the dining near the food stand is not very spacious. So for example in full, sitting in the smoking area.

Superior staff, good hotel

Especially the staff stands out. I've stayed at higher-end hotels in Medan before, but the staff at Four Points work at a different level. You feel friendly but always treated with respect. There is always a little more service than I expected. You can have breakfast in peace or have nice conversations with the staff (if their work allows it). In particular, the manager (Erwin) inquired about our personal concerns and continued to pursue them on the following days.
Rooms are adequate and clean. My wife is fussy and has visited various hotels before. Due to the cleanliness we stayed here.
An extremely pleasant stay in an otherwise messy city.
