Beautiful, clean property.Exceptional staff

I really wanted to visit the Tuscan countryside but didn’t want to drive. I thought the Hotel Villa Olmi was a nice compromise. The property is beautiful and clean. Don’t miss walking the grounds. The staff was amazing!!! I especially enjoyed chatting with Simona & another young lady, whose name now escapes me, in the restaurant. The breakfast spread is nice & dinner…well, the staff is pleasant.

Best place I have stayed in our travels

One of the most amazing places. I loved it. We stayed for 5 nights after 15 days of traveling all 2 nights each place. It was a great place to unwind. Close enough to go back into Florence center but away from the crowds. The grounds are beautiful. It was like living in a museum with the amazing collections and antiques everywhere. The staff were so lovely. It was so nice to unwind with our bottle of wine in one of the spots on the garden after a day out and about. Easy access to highway to get to Pisa or San Gimignano to drive. I 100% recommend this.

We recently spent a week at Villa Olmi and had the most incredible time. The hotel itself is beautiful, a peaceful oasis to escape the busy city. The grounds were kept beautifully and the pool area in particular felt so pristine, plenty of fresh towels, super clean and drinks/food delivered to your sun bed- a total dream!
Rooms were great with air con that kept them cool during the recent heatwave. Our room near the pool was the perfect location too, literally steps to our sun beds. The bathrooms could do with updating I feel, but they were fine and kept clean.
All staff at the hotel were so lovely, warm and welcoming. The reception team were always helpful with questions we had (for example needing a different adapter for our plugs!). The wait staff were also all very attentive and friendly. The housekeeping team also- working that job during hot weather must be tough but they were so smiley and kind.
Food at breakfast was great, such a good selection. The restaurant was also super tasty and a lovely setting to have dinner. One comment would be more of a varied menu, we were there for a week and the menu didn’t change so we did go elsewhere for variety.
The shuttle bus was very useful and a great addition to have as it’s too far to walk into Florence. However I think a later shuttle bus to allow staying out for dinner would have been great, also dropping closer to the city centre as the 20 min walk from the bus was hard in the heat.
Overall an excellent stay!

Beautiful ! A truly luxurious. elegant, old-world hotel that delivers your money’s worth.

Tusacny !! The fabulous land of wines and rolling hills spread under sparkling blue skies and tall, slender cypress trees, peppered with small, ancient and historic villages that still live the old lifestyles. And in this bucolic landscape lies the metropolitan city of Florence – Firenze – which is also the most populated city and capital of the region. Dating back to before the Roman times – 59 BC - the city has been the center of medieval European trade and is considered to have been the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. It is teeming with historical architecture, art and eons of history, now interspersed with modern development that makes this city a cultural and industrial center – and a huge tourism magnet.
Of the many hospitality institutions in the city, one of the most elegant is the Villa Olmi. Even online, it stands out from the competition. Located around 10 to 15 minutes from the city center, it is easy to reach by taxi or the hotel shuttle. With its beautifully landscaped and maintained gardens, the property feels like being in the countryside with beautiful surroundings and acres where one can escape the crowds, yet is within this teeming city. Just so convenient and special.
We were traveling with friends from Israel and booked two rooms. The hotel is stunning: the decor, the rooms, the common spaces and restaurants - all of it was magazine-cover beautiful and well maintained. The rooms we could afford were fairly spacious and the baths were beautifully finished with marble tops, tiled surfaces and wood accents – spotlessly clean and with all the necessary amenities. The service was amazing, and all the hotel employees are very professional. Great way to run a hospitality establishment - Thank you !
An absolutely incredible, though short stay – wish we had more time on this vacation.

Laid back, luxurious feel to this hotel, gorgeous pool area, in tranquil grounds with birdsong, scent of flowers, and unassuming, carefully attentive staff. Delicious unhurried buffet breakfast.
15 minutes by minibus into central Florence. Best of both worlds. We spent 4 nights here.
