Top class

We loved our stay in Bari. This accommodation was in a very central location. The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious. Our host Michelle was very pleasant and informative.He was a bright and helpful person, We look forward to our family members using his accommodation again! .It had been his granny’s home and it was renovated and decorated sensitively.

An exceptionally beautiful B&B

A beautifully restored house in the middle of the old town of Bari.
All sights of the old town and shopping mile are within walking distance.
The two apartments are lovingly renovated and everything is available.
Only the stairs are not suitable for disabled people, but the host also carries the suitcases upstairs.
Michele is a great host, makes a wonderful breakfast, gives tips and is available for any questions.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
Tip:
Those arriving by car must know that the entire old town of Bari is a ZTL zone.
We drove the rental car first to the parking lot Via Ruggiero il Normanno.
There you can park for 1 euro per hour until 8 pm, it is close to the hotel.
After dropping off the suitcases at Michele's, we parked the car in the SABA Porto Bari car park. This is about 5 minutes walk from the B&B.
I booked the parking garage online with ParcClick for 3 days.
It all worked out fine.
By the way, those who have the Easypark app can also use it well in Bari and other Italian cities for roadside parking (blue areas).

Location and hospitality exceeded expectations

We fell in love with this place to stay, this most hospitable home and the sincere host, very sociable guy Michele. This house belonged to his grandparents, just beautifully renovated, with beauty, coziness and comfort. Clear instructions for self-check-in. This guest house has 2 apartments over several floors, we booked these 2 apartments for 4 people. We owned the entire guest house. It was spacious, comfortable, quiet to sleep. The stairs was not scary for us. Everything you need is in the kitchen. In the morning the host came and prepared, served us a wonderful breakfast. The location is ideal, near the famous cathedral, in the center of the old town. We didn't have time to use the beautiful terrace at the top of guest house, because of one night we had.
We were thrilled to find great wines to taste and to buy in the fridge from Michele's parents' vineyard. The host ordered a taxi for the trip to the airport. Grazie mille, when we come back to Bari - only here.

Nice but challenging stairs

Nicely updated room and bath in the historic district of Bari. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and provided a very nice breakfast. He also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and called us a taxi in the morning. High ratings for the host.
The challenge of the room is that it was up two very steep flights of stairs with challenging hand rails. The first section had just a thick rope. Was glad we only stayed one night. I would not have wanted to go up or down more than twice.
The location was active and lively on a Friday night but with the window closed the room was very quiet. The bed and pillow were memory foam. Good size shower but tight fit between sink and toilet. It was a reasonable value for the price. Not recommended for anyone who is unstable or afraid of heights.

Optimal

We felt welcomed and pampered in this particular mini structure, ideal for a stay in Bari. Everything is very close, reachable on foot, and the silence of the alley (together with the comfort of the mattress) allows for a wonderful sleep. The breakfast is rich and plentiful, and the room on the second floor very nice. Thanks to Michele, excellent host! Cardinale's B&B is a place to return to!!
