Magical Venetian Nights
Carnival Palace is located in an ideal spot to enjoy the quiet side of the island. Our room was elegantly decorated with the most comfortable bed of the four other 4 star hotels we stayed in Italy this trip. Excellent booking communications.
Our last night in Venice was magical thanks to the friendly staff. Restaurant recommendations were spot on, many happy smiles from breakfast brunch servers, and efficient bookings of private water taxi made it easy transport to and from Marco Polo airport.

A modern gem in Venice!
This was an excellent hotel for my family! We booked a suite and it was more than we could have expected. There was a dividing door between the bedroom and living room where the kids had two single beds (one was a day bed, one was a rollaway). The bathroom was beautiful and modern and there was plenty of space and terrific A/C (which was very much appreciated!) The breakfast was terrific and only 11 euro per person - well worth it! The staff was fantastic! They were so helpful and willing to offer great tips and advice for the best ways to enjoy Venice! Filippo and Tony were amazing! The hotel is away from the heavy traffic of S. Marco Sq and the Rialto Bridge area - but that does not matter. There is an easy water taxi right out front and the walk is an enjoyable 30 minutes. There are great restaurants and bars along the way that are not nearly as crowded as what you find in the center of the island. This hotel was an amazing find and we highly reccomend it!

Amazing stay
The hotel was so great! The room was really clean and comfortable. The receptionists Tony and Felipo were amazing too!

Excellent location, accommodations, and staff
As part of an Italy trip, we needed a place to stay after landing in Venice (our trajectory is Venice for 1 night, Bologna for 3 nights, and then Lake Garda for 5 nights). We chose Carnival Palace based on reviews and proximity to the train station. The hotel organized a private water taxi for us to make the transition easier from the airport to the hotel. Though we had some challenges connecting with the driver at first, the hotel helped us figure it out, and we had passage directly from the airport to the hotel via a private car to the dock, and then a water taxi that took us directly in front of the hotel on the island.
The front desk staff was incredibly helpful - from helping answer questions about where to find out driver, to helping us change our clothes and storing our luggage while we went out exploring, plus giving some recommendations for where to go, what to eat, and what to drink - they were all incredibly helpful and friendly.
Shout out to the bartender who made me a special Venetian cocktail that was lovely. He was also incredibly friendly and welcoming!
The rooms were perfect. The bed was comfortable, and everything was pretty perfect for our stay. And the breakfast (included with our rate) was excellent.
Would absolutely return to this hotel if I go back to Venice - highly recommended.
