A complete nightmare
“A complete nightmare. The hotel is so dirty and rundown that it looks abandoned. The rooms are impossible to use — noisy, uncomfortable, and absolutely disgusting. The owner is one of the worst I have ever encountered: rude, vulgar, and totally incapable of treating guests with even a minimum of respect. I have no idea how someone like this can still work with the public. This place can ruin an entire trip.”

Good for short stays.
Seeing other reviews we expected much worse. I think you should go with a different mindset to this type of accommodation and not expect great luxuries or amenities. We stayed in the attic, which was quite nice, with private bathroom. Of course, we were told not to use the shower much as it leaked moisture in the rooms below... I do think that is something to try to solve, because I imagine that many of the reviews come from people who have stayed in these rooms. But the loft is spacious and clean if you're not your typical cleaning maniac. The infrastructure feels worn and old, but on the island of Venice all the buildings are in a similar condition, so if you want to be able to walk everywhere without paying an exorbitant price for the accommodation, is what there is. Regarding the concierge/manager/owner, the same... He is a gentleman who feels at home, because he lives on one of the floors of the building, and does not treat you with the rigor or formality of a hotel, but we did not think he was a bad person. Yes, we were disturbed that, to communicate that the hot water had been spoiled (it was solved the next day), he used his key to enter our room with us inside. Although he knocked on the door, he didn't wait for us to open it and he came in. Taking these details away, if you are looking for practicality and do not need great luxuries, at least in the attic, is fine.

LOST ITEM ROOM 101
Good morning,
Hi, we just check out this morning from room 101, under the reservation of Orisa Borges.
Since then we realise that we must have left a necklace, a necklace that is not worth much but has a big sentimental value due to be a family necklace. I think it must be near the desck, on it or must have fallen from there, sinse it was there the last time we saw it. The necklace is the one in the picture.
Will you be able to send it to us by mail, we will cover all the expanses?

Living room with theft pc / A stay with theft
I stayed at this property in June 2024. The building was run down, the room was small, rather dirty, but all compared to the price. My review is motivated by what happened at check-out. The receptionist, already during check-in, had tried to dispute the payment via Booking, despite me showing the receipt. On the morning of departure, the same receptionist offered to keep my luggage, which I could retrieve in the afternoon. When I returned, however, the briefcase with the computer was missing. The receptionist refused to cooperate in any way to determine what had happened and even tried to claim that there had never been a computer. I reported this to the Carabinieri, but, unfortunately, nobody intervened. I recommend NOT staying at this property, because I fear that the receptionist is used to steal goods from customers.
