The hotel was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood off of a charming piazza! The property was quaint and decorated with historic paintings, furniture and decor. Room was clean, the ac sometimes did not work. Breakfast was basic but delicious.

Good location, beautiful breakfast area, but unacceptable service

The hotel is very well located and the breakfast room is absolutely stunning. However, the rooms are quite old and not very clean.
What was truly shocking was the behavior of the night staff. One person in particular was extremely unprofessional, insulting and aggressive in a way that I have never experienced in all my travels.
Even more disappointing, the rest of the hotel staff showed very little understanding or concern regarding this incident.
Overall, despite the nice location and breakfast area, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the unacceptable service and lack of professionalism.

Enjoyed our stay in this old world palazzo

We stayed for three nights and were very pleased. Good location - a short walk to all attractions but in a less touristy area. Service was attentive, the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good quality. We loved the building and its authentic old world charm. We were not looking for modern with lots of amenities.

It is a beautiful palazzo, and the main hall is stunning. The room — not so much. It has a bit of a run-down feel. Breakfast is not worth 15 euro a day. Location is a BIG plus, very central, with a very pretty square in front. You’ll have a window overlooking it if you are lucky.

THE WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!!!!

One star is not enough to describe how bad this experience was.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!
As 2 young solo female travellers, we were so excited for such a beautiful and wonderful hotel - we get a message as we’re on the 40 minute boat ride to the hotel at 9pm saying they’ve cancelled our booking, even though it’s confirmed and payment was taken.
We decided to go anyway as we had no where else to stay on such short notice and so late - we were met with the rudest, most disgusting behaviour.
The man behind the desk was awful, interrupting us, not letting us speak, pretending he didn’t speak English and making personal phone calls as we’re begging for a room.
Again, as 2 young non Italian women, we were in tears. How can a hotel cancel last minute after confirming and taking payment?
If booking this hotel - DO NOT BOOK THROUGH BOOKING.COM!! The manager pretends that the booking never went through and just says the system is faulty.
Would never ever EVER recommend this hotel.
The interior is beautiful but the male staff are the most vile people in Venice.
