Very priceworthy hotel in lovely Cannaregio area. Clean, friendly, 5 min walk to the central station St Lucia. Restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Nice beds, good AC, slept very well. We were super happy with this one. Good value two star hotel

Decent stay

It is a small 2-star hotel that is close to the station. With rather sparse, but decent, service in the lobby. It is small and somewhat cramped; it gave me a bit of a feeling of confinement. The room was decent, with a mosquito plug-in included, which is very necessary; I recommend bringing another one and repellent.
Comfortable bathroom. We had good cleanliness, decent Wi-Fi.
Breakfast was quite basic, coffee machine with pods, milk, some fruit, bread, everything very simple and with limited hours from 7:30 to 10.
I would say that our stay was decent, and for what is charged in Venice, it is a hotel that is worth it since it is quite "affordable."

Very nice hotel room. Old vibe, but still clean. They had AC, so the temperature was comfortable. I really appreciated that, because it was quite hot in July. It was also very close to the station and the central of Venice. The breakfast was quite nasty. Watery eggs and dry bread. The staff was also very rude. The middle aged man behind the desk had a nasty attitude, and the lady at the breakfast was not nice either. I’m not a difficult guest, but I would appreciate a smile and a respectful tone. The tv did not work so we were not able to watch the World Cup or any other tv channel, which was sad. I would not come again.

DO NOT accept rooms 39/40

Do NOT accept rooms 39/40.
Unfortunately this hotel is renting out the top floor, attic rooms.
I suspect many of the other rooms in the hotel are probably decent but they forced us into an attic room that was buggy, and had a skylight that and we suspect let in heat/mosquitos.
The ceilings were about 4ft high in many areas of the room resulting in a few bumped heads.
When asked to change rooms, we were promised we would be able to switch the next morning. However, in the morning, they failed to honor that request. I suspect the woman just did not want to deal with us. This was despite many rooms checking out throughout the morning and being turned over.
I'm sure the other rooms offer a good experience however I would personally not risk booking here just in case you happen to get stuck in these two rooms.

Nice little place, four minute walk from the train station, seven minute walk from Guglie waterbus stop and 11 minute walk from the bus stop at Piazzale Roma. 24 hour front desk, decent continental breakfast from 730-10am. 30 minute walk to St Marks square. About a minute walk from one of the main shopping streets. Far enough away from the main road to feel peaceful but literally steps away from everything. Staff is super pleasant and speak English, Spanish and Italian. Some rooms have gorgeous balconies. Rooms have Nespresso machines and are large by European standards
