Difficult to find a better hotel at the very core of Venice for this price

Hard to find a better hotel in the heart of Venice for this price. I can imagine that very expensive, many‑star hotels might be better, but this one offers an excellent location, with very easy access from the Rialto vaporetto stop. There are stairs, of course — it’s an old building — but the attendant, whose name I don’t know how to spell, was extremely kind and attentive, doing her best to help us, as we are elderly.

Rooms inadequate. Serious updating needed

Location great, everything else terrible. The room was tiny, the bathroom so small I kept hitting the radiator as I came out of the shower, skirting hanging off the walls, receptionist only available until 3pm so any issues after that were not resolved. Money needs to be spent updating these rooms. Texts were sent to the number provided for assistance on Friday evening, no reply until Sunday. Not good enough at all

Central and cozy!

Central location, possibility of self-check-in. Stairs a little narrow covered with carpet. The very nice room, the very comfortable mattress, however, has retained original features, especially for the presence of exposed wooden beams. The warm decor of the curtains and furniture creates a romantic atmosphere. New bathroom with a modern design; nevertheless the contrast between the two environments does not out of tune. Too bad about the empty bar fridge, without a bottle of water it was difficult to use the kettle in the room. The stay, however, was more than satisfactory and the staff, although present only at certain times, very kind and helpful. Recommended!

Super option for 2 nights

I traveled with my husband and we wanted to explore Venice at our own pace, mainly we took this hotel specifically for its central location near the Rialto transport stop so you don't have to walk too much with bags and backpack, you should know before selecting this hotel, if you are an older adult or you are one of those traveling with checked baggage and not hold baggage the hotel has no elevator since it is an old building so you will have to carry your bag down some stairs that the truth agreed me the stairs in Amsterdam.
- Room: we touched the 4th floor double bed type Queen quite comfortable, with additional pillows, we took the normal room not the superior, clean air conditioning with super cooling. typical bathroom in Europe but well of hot water and cleaning, we were greeted with a bottle of complementary water, rested quite well because although this central hotel is towards a street of little traffic so the bustle of people was not noticed at all.
-check inn: everything very well sent us all the information on time and the access code since if you arrive after 3:00pm there is no one in reception.
Staff: very attentive and helpful we managed two reservations for lunch and dinner in two restaurants near the hotel very good.
in my personal experience we did very well and could be an option to stay again if we returned through Venice.
extra: underneath is a small pizza shop that is eaten well and cheaply.

Super recommended

I came with my daughter, and I felt very good. Quiet location, clean room, cozy hotel and the guy at the reception very kind. Much appreciated the possibility to leave luggage. Super recommended
