Nice place in a fantastic location. Our room had a terrace facing the Grand Canal. Only complaint is the bathroom and shower was very small (but what do you expect from buildings that are hundreds of years old). Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, a good place to stay in Venice. It is very close to St. Mark's square and other tourist spots and walkable to all key locations. The Office to collect the Keys is at a different location nearby and you will not have a reception at the Lion Morosini.

The only amenities this property had was air conditioning and balcony, which we didn’t use due to the construction going on.
This family suite consisted of three old beds. Two without sheets in one space and a bathroom with a tiny shower that a fat person would struggle to shower in and the toilet seat needs to be replaced. The lack of Photos should’ve been a dead give away that it wasn’t worth the $1200 paid for a three night weekday stay. Very disappointed to say the least in our first and mostest expensive of our three bookings on this Expedia trip. I definitely thought for a hotel to list on Expedia there would be some checks and balances to avoid this situation. I’m a nervous wreck on what the next two stops have in store especially since the prices were lower than this dump. The decor looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 80’s and the constant strong smell of sewage walking up and down the stairwell was nauseating. I give a minus zero for cleanliness. I have never once in my life expected a full refund while traveling until now. The two pictures attached to this listing must be old. The bed frame was different and the there now is a mirror over desk. The picture of the space with small tables chairs is now a sitting area with stain up sofa and two side chairs. The dust and grime is visible at every corner, walking in the front door all the way to the so called family suite.

This was the most unique place I have ever stayed, an older converted building right on the canal. Location is extremely close to the Rialto bridge which you can see wonderfully from the nearby dock. Lots of shops, restaurants and a market close by. The building is older, the rooms small but well maintained. Room had coffee maker and mini fridge and AC. To reach the hotel requires walking down a very narrow lane and unlocking a secure gated door which can be unsettling but common for Venice. Be aware there is no elevator.
