Great location
Very comfortable B&B, perfect room, top-notch hospitality, unique assistance, and availability like few others, providing beach umbrellas, beach towels, and they gave us the possibility of a late check-out on the day of departure without any extra charge, fresh, good, and abundant breakfast.

Authentic Hospitality and Sardinian Welcoming: thank you Stefania!
Our stay at B&B Su Coccu was really pleasant and enriching, especially thanks to Stefania's warm Welcoming. From check-in she proved extremely helpful and kind, making us feel immediately at home.
With great passion he explained the meaning of the “coccu”, a traditional Sardinian amulet in obsidian, a symbol of protection and auspiciousness, which gives its name to the structure. A fascinating detail that adds an authentic and cultural touch to the experience.
In addition to her hospitality, Stefania gave us valuable suggestions on what to visit in Iglesias and its surroundings, pointing out places not very touristy but full of charm, typical restaurants and breathtaking beaches that otherwise we would not have discovered

An example of Southern Italian cosiness...
When deciding to book this hotel, I noticed that it has a very high review score, but for that, not that many reviews in total. I want to change that to convince more people that value "southern Italian cosiness" over the typical standard hotel look, to go there.
1. First of all, the pictures don't do justice of the real sight you will encounter when seeing your room for the first time. For example, some rooms might look a bit dark, but that's not how they look in reality. All rooms have this fresh, clean, pleasantly lit view, with relaxing dailight look and have this light feminine style to them.
2. The walls of some of the rooms are painted in marine blue and the bedlinen have colored strips that match with that marine blue. The yellow brown floor in natural stone is pleasantly cool but not cold. The bathroom has this nice southern Italian style to it, again with the same natural stone floor and tiles and pastel marine blue walls.
3a). My room had this separate veranda style small working room that is bright with many glass surfaces and with a glass table where you can put your laptop to do some work. Thanks to the white walls, and five glass surfaces, plenty of light is let inside to also still brighten the bedroom that is behind it, giving it this nice pleasant relaxing effect by not being overly bright.
3b) The room I had was also very silent. Other rooms are slightly more noisy due to facing the main street but you will get used to that.
4) The owner Monica is warm, classy, charming and understanding. Communication gets quick and fluent over Whatsapp. If there is anything you need, want or plan, just ask and you will get an immediate response.
5) The breakfast ist varied and arranged in an original manner. You will notice, when entering the kitchen. You will observe that Monica's experience in maintaining tidyness and creativity is unparallelled.
6) Location wise, from this hotel it will actually be quicker to the beach than many other hotels, taking you about half an hour in total by taking two buses, which is a small adventure on its own. For the rest, there are plenty of buses that connect you to different parts of the city.

Highly recommended
Highly recommended. Walking distance to the tourist attractions (just to give you the idea, you can reach Bastione di Saint Remy in 15-20 minutes). I stayed in a Deluxe room, it was spacious, bright and SPOTLESS clean. Nice decor and all facilities seemed to be new and in good condition. The bed was large and very comfortable. Nice bathroom with a spacious shower. Fast WiFi. Unlimited access to a fully equipped kitchen. The owner, Monica, was very helpful too. She was coming to the B&B only for a few hours, but it was very easy to get in touch with her via WhatsApp in case of any questions when she was not there. I would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable room - Felt like home
I stayed 11 days at Su Coccu. I am so happy with my choice. First of all, the owner Monica, is a total sweetheart. She doesn't live there but waited for me after midnight the day I arrived. Then she wrote to me a short message every day to make sure all was going well and asking me if I needed anything. She doesn't speak English and just a little French and I don't speak Italian but we managed to have some interesting conversations. She is one of the nicest person I ever met.
The room I was in was large and comfortable but above all extremely clean. The bathroom is big too with a large shower. Monica is very talented with decor and pays a great attention to details. There is also a kitchen to share which is fully equiped and where guests can cook and have breakfast. For 2 euros more everyday, I recommend having breakfast there as Monica offers everything one can hope for, and more. I don't eat gluten therefore she asked me what I wanted and bought more things for me. Last but not least, the comfort, quality and service you get fot the price is really unbeatable. Very good wi-fi as well.
As for the location, it's a 15 minutes bus from the port with all the restaurants and only 10 minutes to the main shopping street. San Benedetto market is 5 minutes walk away. There's a large market 5 minutes away, several cafés and restaurants around and even a good gelateria across from the building. The beach is further away but easily reachable with a direct bus.
