The effort is worth it!
We have booked this beautiful hotel despite the poor reviews and did not regret it!
Beautiful complex overlooking Capri! Of course, you have to climb a steep ramp, but after booking you get all the information also how to bring the luggage to the hotel! Very nice terrace with views! Pool and garden very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and attentive throughout.

Do not book here!
Terrible location. Steep cannot describe the trek up 35 stone inclines to reach the top. No handrails completely unsafe and impossible to climb even for the most fit of people. They advertise another path (also very steep) but it is not lit so you have no choice but to navigate the vertical climb. I have traveled Europe and have never experienced anything like this. Staff was rude when we tried to check out and stated “this is capri” I have been there multiple times and never experienced anything like this. How it is considered five star is unfathomable. They also refused to refund us. The trek up to the hotel is all stones slippery and completely unsafe. DO NOT STAY HERE.

THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.
I booked a stay at this hotel for my birthday.
Access to the hotel is extremely dangerous, with 27 slippery and poorly maintained ramps. The risk of slipping is very high, and at night the lighting is almost nonexistent. We were forced to walk barefoot or in rubber slippers to go up and down.
When I requested to pay for the first night of our stay and leave (obviously asking for a refund for the two nights I would not have used), the establishment rudely denied us the possibility.
But it doesn't end here!!!!!!
On the second evening (the evening of my birthday), due to the rain, we were stuck at the establishment. Unable to go out, I asked for a bottle of water, and I was presented with a bill of €27 for a bottle of water that they should have offered every evening upon arrival given the 30 minutes of unspecified climbs.
Of course, I returned the bottle and waited two hours to be able to go down (once the downpour was over) and to be able to drink.
A situation I have never experienced, and we are used to staying in luxury establishments. Unfortunately, this establishment is equivalent to a poorly managed 2-star hotel.
I don't know who gave it 5 stars or for what reason.
In all this, the staff was the rudest I have ever encountered in my life.
The idea was that of "you got the raw deal and you have to live with it."
Do not book or you will regret it every day of your vacation!
Ps. The minimal light you see in the photos is from the iPhone flashlight.

Best view of capri
When we arrived at the hotel we scared with the staircase ,
But they look for luggage at the entrance of the hotel , a bit tired of the center of capri , but when the view comes is the comfort of the hotel and the affection of the staff compensates for the walk !

Terrible
They should be ashamed of what guests are forced to do to reach the property... a maze of narrow streets and finally a very steep climb made in hairpin turns among brambles and uneven ground... a true torture. For me, absolutely zero
