The wedding of the year

We were there for a wedding and the experience was wonderful, the space is beautiful, they have taken care of everything in detail, there are animals and even a lake. The staff was very professional and close, attentive to everything and willing to help, the food varied and very delicious. I would recommend it 1000!

Disappointment after years of good memories.

I returned to this property after several years, driven by good memories of genuine cuisine, hearty appetizers, typical cuisine at km ZERO with seasonal products, and an environment surrounded by greenery. Unfortunately, today’s experience was far from what was expected.
The location remains really nice and cared for, but the service and quality of the food have disappointed deeply.
Here are some points that I think it is right to point out:
The drinks were all served hot, despite the 35 ° C. We had to ask for ice all the time.
The red wine, served at a temperature between 24°C and 30°C, was undrinkable.
The appetizers, once abundant and made with seasonal products, have been reduced to some ordinary cold cuts available everywhere.
The pasta for the children arrived at 14:00 after repeated requests: unfortunately it was hot and with a sour sauce (perhaps due to the heat)... obviously they did not eat it.
Adults ate a decent scarpariello (although with ricotta not provided in the traditional recipe), the only appreciable dish.
At 3pm a mini cutlet arrived with a few chips for the children, now hungry.
The braised meat for us adults was tender, but the taste and smell of the meat were very intense, to the point that you could not eat it... cold and dried baked potatoes, while the peppers were good.
Children's dessert: Cocoa sponge cake in the shape of a muffin.
Adults dessert: Tart with custard and cherries, very dry and difficult to swallow.
Coffee, not bad.
Conclusion:
With great regret, I will never return. We regret to see how a structure that once knew how to offer quality and hospitality has slipped into inattentive service and neglected cuisine.

Total disappointment

They don't organize ceremonies, the place is beautiful but they aren't organized and the food is miserable and nothing much ruined a day for me while I was joyfully awaiting my son's communion, absurdly incapable of managing an event after a year of terrible organisation, believe me.

Nice countryside restaurant

we have been invited for a birthday party. The place is quite enjoyable in sunny days: the outdoor here is lovely, the grass is very well kept and lots of orange treees make it a pleasant stopover close to Volturno river. The menu was not "a la carte" but we appreciated it anyway.

Nice to stay at an orchard, but not with great hospitality

We normally enjoy our stays at the agriturismos in Italy and La Masseria is beautifully located in a large fruit orchard. The room was large and had good amenities. There is a good sized pool and it's really peaceful.
Unfortunately it is not possible to have dinner at the estate and breakfast is really minimal. Our 7 yr old son had an unpleasant encounter with one of the dogs and had to see a doctor. There was no help offered by the owners and that was quite a disappointment. Capua is a nice place to visit and we had some nice meals in town, but wouldn't come back to this agriturismo.
