100% best hotel experience in Florence
The location just across the river was perfect. We didn’t have to deal with the crowds and got more of a local experience. It was easy to catch the bus from directly in front of the hotel which dropped us off in front of Ponte Vecchio. The hotel helped us with bus tickets, a taxi into the LTZ and the best local dinner recommendations. The breakfast, free happy hour every night and free parking were just the bonuses. We would definitely 100% recommend this hotel to everyone.

The staff was excellent, the breakfast was excellent with choice, quality and quantity. The happy hour meet and greet along with beverages and snacks was awesome. Location-based was great and with parking...centrally located easy access to Florence.....just excellent

What a gem so close to the city! The private garden around the hotel was so peaceful to sit in, as well as the breakfast area. Our room was quant and comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. So glad we chose to stay here. I would 100% come back and stay again!!!!

Impeccable and Fun
The image of three of the many fabulous staff says it all. This quiet, slightly across the Arno niche hotel would be a value at twice the price. A fabulous breakfast and amazing happy hour as well as cold water, coffee and select beverages are free and available 24 hours/day, as is the staff. The housekeepers are silent and wonderful and keep the rooms spotless. The perfect place for those hoping to meet and chat with fellow travelers, and with many niches for the would-be reader to nest. I booked a two-night return when I left because I had such a wonderful time. Good, flat walking to Centro Historico, but also easy access to several different bus routes that will take you anywhere you need. Incredibly prompt taxi service.

Best Hotel in Italy!
I was recently in Florence for the first time and I picked the Hotel David for my stay of several days. This is the best hotel in all of Italy, perhaps all of Europe. The staff are very friendly, always offering assistance when it’s needed. I’ve never stayed at any facility that has such a good selection at breakfast or that offers free beverages and snacks throughout the day. I want to come back to Florence, not because of the many things to see and do, but to stay at Hotel David. Fantastic hotel!
