I stayed at this B&B for about ten days and I really enjoyed it.
The property is located in a decentralized position from the historic center of Perugia, however easily accessible by car (but if you are a walker, you can also do it on foot).
I booked a room, comfortable and basic, on the ground floor of the building (on the first floor there lives the landlady with the family). The room has a private outdoor bathroom.
Very cool, very quiet and peaceful environment, away from the traffic and tourist hustle that characterizes Perugia, especially during the period of the Umbria Jazz Festival.
Beautiful garden, but above all excellent and plentiful breakfasts!

Availability maybe yes, confirmation definitely no.

I am not usually one to write reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel it is necessary to share my experience so that other customers can be aware.
We contacted them to book, through Wonderbox, two nights at the facility, knowing from the start about the possible presence of a surcharge.
From the very beginning, however, the only aspect considered was exclusively the surcharge, without being able to obtain a clear confirmation of either availability or the total cost of the stay. The response was that the owner was out of the office and that we would need to get in touch again the next day.
From that moment on, the management was confusing and lacking transparency. The lady informed us that she would be out of Perugia until Sunday (in response to a request sent on Tuesday), with unhelpful tones and unclear information, while claiming that availability existed.
We therefore tried to maintain as respectful and collaborative an attitude as possible, (despite it being perhaps necessary to remind that this was not a favor granted, but a paid service that we would have paid for anyway), limiting ourselves to requesting a simple confirmation of the reservation, without further discussions about the surcharge, solely to avoid arriving close to departure without accommodation, especially considering that the facility was still available on various platforms.
The response received was literally: "I don't know, let's hope!" "Now I’m closing, bye."
Subsequently, no confirmation or definitive feedback ever arrived.
It is evident that working with the public requires organization, clarity, and a minimum availability towards the customer. In this case, such elements were completely lacking, starting from the management of the reservation to the communication.
I had never found myself in a situation like this before.

Refuge from the crowds

We visited Perugia for the Umbria Jazz festival which was great. The historical centre was a hive of activity and it turned out that our choice of accommodation was ideally positioned, a 2-minute drive to parking but far enough away from the crowds and the noise. The star of our week in Perugia though was our host, Marina who prepared delicious breakfasts each day and has an assortment of snacks available for when you're feeling peckish. Despite the language barrier, Marina who still speaks more English than we speak Italian really did well to field our questions. She is incredibly warm and hospitable, and it was a sad farewell when we left. The jazz festival meant late nights and late mornings, all of which were no problem. We were extremely comfortable and our room overlooked a lovely garden. A really nice stay!

Nice and quiet B&B, with good service near old town

Beautiful B&B near the old center of Perugia, very quiet and with quick acces to the highway. Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and spacious living with everything we need.
Very warm welcome and lots of typical local Umbrian food in the kitchen.
