Great little hotel

Absolutely fabulous old lift.
Large and airy, well appointed rooms. Great location, particularly for Rome Termini railway station.
Very clean with rooms cleaned and tidied each day and 2 sets of fresh towels for a 3 night stay.
Staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Ne tak dobrý

Místnost byla velmi malá, ale vzhledem k tomu, že tam zůstáváte jenom spát, je to přijatelné. Koupelna nebyla tak čistá, ani listy.
Jediná dobrá věc byla krátká procházka k nádraží Termini.

Welcome to the casting of Psycho.

First of all, when you arrive you are charged more money because the tourist tax of the city was not included in the booking.
I don't think it can be considered a hotel. It is a kind of apartment on one of the floors of a building with several rooms in which the reception is always closed. We stayed 5 days and only saw the receptionist on the day of checkin and one day in the morning.
The entrance to the building looks like the same house of terror, welcome to tell me friends. The elevator looks like something out of a Stephen King movie. If we already go into the room, the bathroom is not available even to the prisoners at Guantanamo. In the shower you couldn't do the tile dance. Why put a screen if you can use shower curtains and feel like a flamingo? Tooodo is filled with water. The toilet could only be overcome by a hole in the ground.
Not to mention that from your room you can hear the snoring of the next room.
On the other hand, we asked the receptionist on the second day if he could facilitate the control of the air conditioning (heating) since we went cold at night and he informed us that it was not necessary, that it was no longer cold and that the central heating system was sufficient (this system was more modern in the catacombs of San Calixto). Of course, comfortable bed and impeccable cleaning service. Very good location. It is true that the investment in the stay was not excessive, however, the benefits do not correspond to the price of the establishment. Welcome to casting Psycho.

two days in Rome

quiet hotel located in a building on the second floor a family hotel at a good price. very kind owner we left the room in the morning and had train in the evening and left us in storage our luggage which we then collected in the evening ..

In my opinion it should only have one star and not two and cost less.
The location is good, ok, the room was normal size with basic furniture, ok. The air conditioning was ok.
The hotel is located on the floor of an old building with a wooden elevator (reminded me of the horror movie Deep Red).
The bathroom to forget: small, narrow, shower with curtain, microscopic sink (and no bidet). The view from the windows...better let it go.
When we arrived we struggled to find it as the only indication was a metal plaque as old as the cucco and ruined, attached to the wall of the apartment building. We played several times and no one answered. I had to ring another bell to get someone resident in this building to open it.
At the reception there was no one and it was locked (we tired dead after a trip). After about 15 minutes the owner arrives and tells us that he had gone shopping.
For departure: A handwritten ticket - shopping list style- invites departing guests to leave their keys above the table near the reception.
If I had spent at least 30% less than the price, I would not have said anything, but the price is, in my opinion, excessive for what it offers. I repeat: good location, but in fact only that!
