Hotel Monti in Rimini - family yearning place for generations
Hotel Monti has been my family's yearning place since childhood. The location is perfect. In the second row behind the large anonymous hotels, the Hotel Monti is located two minutes from the Spiagge with the newly built promenade and many leisure facilities and directly on a green park that leads in about 15 minutes to the beautiful Centro Storico, the Mercato (always on Wednesdays and Saturdays) or the train station. The Monti family runs the hotel in the second and third generations with a lot of love. The husband of owner Grazia Monti, Corrado, has already worked in exclusive restaurants in New York and runs the kitchen with a lot of passion, conjuring up the tastiest dishes of Emiglia Romagna.
The rooms are clean, bright and functional. To the front and towards the sea they offer a beautiful view.
The Hotel Monti impresses with a very good price/performance ratio. Overall, a clear 5 points.

disappointing
Our experience at the Hotel Monti in Rimini was unfortunately extremely disappointing, from several points of view.
First of all, the Quality of food turned out to be unsatisfactory and far from expectations. Even the room had many problems: the main light did not work, the bathroom lacked electrical outlets (a circumstance that forced us to dry our hair on the bed, with obvious discomfort for rest), and the shower was fixed, making personal hygiene complicated. In addition, the absence of a properly functioning bidet has further aggravated the situation. The room also showed obvious signs of neglect, such as a hole in the wall caused by the faulty opening of the door, which never closed completely.
Another unfortunate incident occurred at check-out: we were required to pay extra for air conditioning, despite the fact that this was already included in the budget agreed with the travel agent. What is more, the plant had never really worked during our stay. The manner in which this request was made, in rude and unprofessional tones, further compromised the overall judgment of the facility.
In general, the staff were unhelpful and courteous, except for the night shift receptionist, who was the only one who stood out for his kindness and professionalism.
In conclusion, our stay at the Hotel Monti in Rimini was characterized by numerous inconveniences and a level of hospitality not adequate to the minimum standards that a traveler should expect.

Hospitality and quality on the sea. I'll be back
I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and can only leave a more than positive review. The location is just perfect: beachfront, : just cross the road and you are immediately at the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The food is excellent, with dishes always fresh, well presented and a wide choice both at breakfast and during main meals. Every day there were new proposals and options for all tastes.
Particular praise goes to the staff, always available, smiling and ready to help in every occasion. You feel a genuine attention to the guest, which really makes a difference.
I highly recommend this hotel to those looking for relaxation, good food and an impeccable Welcoming. I will definitely be back!

GOOD AND BAD
We stayed as a family (two adults and a 3-year-old girl) at this Hotel in July.
The rooms are very dated but spacious, bright and quiet despite the proximity to the street.
The cleaning of floors and sanitary ware is not excellent but linen is changed every day.
Among the services made available by the Hotel, on payment (7 euros per day), there is air conditioning, but it is activated only at certain times (from 14:00 to 16:00 from 18:00 to 19:30 and from 21:30 throughout the night), when I tried to make it clear that with 40 degrees outside and especially paying for the service separately, perhaps it was the case to be able to find the air-conditioned room when returning from the beach, I did not find much understanding.
Even in the restaurant during meals the premises were not often conditioned, as well as common areas such as reception, elevator access, corridors.
The hotel has a long staircase at the entrance without ramp for the disabled and to access with the stroller you have to turn from the outside but the problem is that the access is adjacent to the Hotel parking lot which is very narrow and almost always you can not pass with the stroller.
The food is quality but I find that offering only two alternatives per meal is a bit simplistic. Surely it is to improve the breakfast that always has the same offer.
The staff in the dining room were extremely helpful and friendly.

Perfect.
Very nice as a hotel, the staff is so nice that they hosted us as if we were in a house.
The food is great, more than great perfect, glasses and cutlery clean.
The rooms are great, towels that smell, clothesline present.
High Recommendation, you can save your holiday with a decent price
