Negative
We stayed at this 5 star hotel with high expectations, considering that we are used to paying just to have high standards, but unfortunately the experience was not up to the category.
Breakfast, served exclusively à la carte, offers a very limited choice. In a structure of this level you would expect a rich, varied and attention to detail buffet, able to satisfy different tastes and needs as always happens in all hotels in this category!
Instead, all very meticulous and decidedly poor in choice!
Even the food, in general, of the bistro restaurant inside the hotel, while discreet, does not present anything particularly memorable and the menu is quite narrow, without great proposals or variety. The presentation of the dishes is also basic and perfectly anonymous.
As for the gourmet menu instead, mixtures of absurd flavors that do not even inspire the tasting! Accustomed to the menu of Calandre di Sarmeola or Gelivs in Oderzo, this anonymous chef probably still has a lot to learn.
The only positive note was the service: the staff was always attentive, helpful and courteous, trying to professionally compensate for the other multiple shortcomings that we never, ever found in other hotels in the same category!
In our junior suite we didn't have any power outlets near our bedside tables to charge our cell phones. So we had to move to the sockets across the room! This is unacceptable!
Overall, a stay that does not reflect the standards of a 5-star hotel, especially as far as catering is concerned.
In fact, we noticed that despite being in the Easter period there were very few people present in this structure both during the day and in
dinner .. maybe we are not the only ones who were disappointed.
