We stayed in the log cabin style room in the very back. It was perfect for our one night stay. We visited the Kingston area and drive back to Montego Bay in order to fly back to the States. It was the perfect location to get back to the airport with ease. We were close to the hip strip and we found a nice spot to eat nearby: Peppa’s Cool Spot. This place has a nice view. It was a hidden jewel for us and we plan to stay again. There are other rooms w more bedrooms for families that we viewed. This spot is great for solo and families. We will book again!

Terrible experience
Very Disappointing Stay – Not As Advertised
We had a terrible experience at Bella Vista Montego Bay. There was no reception desk and no staff on site to welcome us — just the security guard, Dwayne, who informed us (with a smile) that the penthouse we had booked and paid for was given to someone else. No apology, no explanation.
We had actually visited the property a week before and selected the penthouse in person with the housekeeper, Latoya. Instead, we were given a tiny, cramped apartment — so small two people couldn’t even move around comfortably.
The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, and the A/C unit was way too large for the room, making it noisy and unpleasant. While there were cooking facilities, there was no space to prep or even plate food.
The property is not well kept, and the overall experience felt careless and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Great place for family or groups
We used the middle level with the three bedrooms with their own ensuites, and also seperate entrances to the outside from each was unique and handy. The main living area was huge! served us well for meals and hanging out late at night. The pool was great and clean. Some bottles laying around in corners, old broken garden lights and small stuff, but overall well kept up. Only thing not kept up was the games area, this is an area we thought we would use more, but the foosball was all apart, pool table very unlevel and the material was so worn and torn, couldn't find any equipment for ping pong table. It is walkable to the hip strip, takes just over 1/2 hour, but not a pleasant walk, especially if you wanted to go back up hill, we only trekked once down. We had issues with communication with the property manager before we even left, getting replies were terrible, and we felt we weren't treated fairly on the extra two days in another room as we came two days extra before our main stay was booked. The check i process???? there is not one, lol, seen so many people come in and go "now what" people waiting on chairs for someone to show up, it was terrible. There is breakfast every morning, which I have never ran into at a VRBO, that's kind of why we get a VRBO, Its served as a bit of a hinderance, because they would bring it to your door and wake you up, not on your schedule. Also Annables trip company provides free shuttle to and from airport, which isn't advertised.

Great value for the price.
Bella Vista Vacation is an excellent lodging option in Montego Bay. We enjoyed our stay and valued aspects such as:
The pool, the terrace, the panoramic view, the entertainment area.
The room with scrupulous hygiene and the treatment of the staff is great.
The manager is Spanish-speaking and was very attentive advising us on our questions.
I highly recommend it.
We walk to the beach, it will take approximately 15 minutes.
Enjoy Montego Bay because: LIFE...is a JOURNEY!

Bella Vista 2BR unit in main Villa
This was a last minute booking (just 24hrs before stay) after our "usual" list of few AirBnbs in Freeport were unavailable. SO GLAD - now THIS is our new favorite in MoBay area!
I would call this a villa complex - with a large main bldg that has a few larger 1-3 BR units with kitchens, and an outbuilding with 4 single units accessing a common kitchen, plus pool, outdoor game room, and several covered private relaxing areas. So is able to accommodate solo travelers up to groups of 6.
Everything went smoothly - from the pre-stay communication, directions, to easy checkin instructions. The caretaker/security met us at the gate when we arrived about 7pm and took us to our unit - made sure we could use the door lock access code to get in, and showed us the unit.
The condo was exactly as expected from the accurate pics. Ours was a huge 2BR, 2BA, unit with lvg room, dining room, and full kitchen. The BRs each had great A/C, hot water, and very comfortable bed.
We would definitely stay again.
