This is the Place to Stay!

This is the place to stay! I didn’t have the option to enter the date I was last there. It has been a few years due to life circumstances. However, I have been to Negril too many times to count and this is by far my favorite place! I have stayed in many places, both beach-side and cliff-side. HSH is the best! Tina and the crew are all just awesome. Love this place and plan on returning as soon as I get my new hip!! Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

2026 HSH was very enjoyable!

Totally enjoyed our stay! Tina makes a personal connection with the guests and is so cheerful and accommodating. The room is amazing, quiet, and clean. The location helps us to walk to the mini-mart to get snacks, is easy to hail a route taxi, and has a great vibe. You could see some damage on the property from the recent hurricane, with a small section of roof damaged, but otherwise the concrete structure held up well. Our room had a window replaced after the storm. The property remains in good condition. We love the private stairs to the ocean, and we were able to snorkel. A few days the ocean was churning but that is cool too.

Showed up and it was CLOSED

My sister and I were really looking forward to staying at this resort for 2 nights last week 6/16 and 6/17 before we headed to Riu Tropical Bay. When we showed up we discovered that it was CLOSED. I had just been in contact via email with the manager Tina a few days prior. We had absolutely NO NOTIFICATION that it was going to be closed. There we are stranded with no place to stay. My sister spoke to someone from home sweet home. They were not very nice and didnt even opologize for this Luckily the White Sands had a place to stay. I would NOT TRUST this place at all. Luckily out driver from LivUp was there to gice us suggestions of where we could we stay and wouldn't leave us.

We're sorry. During our construction to add solar we were closed. We didn't have a confirmed booking on file for your dates, which led to the miscommunication on timing. We appreciate your feedback, and we've reviewed our process to make sure this doesn't happen again. The construction is complete and we're open. Please contact us. Stayed an extra day because it's so hard to leave! I have stayed here a few times prior over the years. As always, everything was amazing! Tina the manager emailed me ahead of time to confirm my reservation and ask if I needed transportation from airport. I stayed in Suite 16 and it was exactly as described. Kitchen to cook. AC is a bonus. Denise and all housekeepers very sweet. Elaine catches fish every morning and will cook meals for you upon request in advance. Home Sweet Home is a quiet chill spot with amazing swimming and sunsets. Big up to owner, and all staff for making this place special! I will be back again soon!

First time staying at Home Sweet Home and in the West End. I will for sure be coming back!!! The staff was fantastic. 👌👏Very friendly and doing anything they can for you. Tina, the manager was awesome. Would recommend this resort. You have the Cliffs and the pool. And if you want the beach it's a taxi ride away. Close to everything.
