Great value budget hotel by station
Check in was at 4pm - quick and simple. Hotel is located about 10 minute walk from Shinkansen station. Lots shops around. Hotel includes evening meal and breakfast. Given the price it’s not too bad - basic but edible for those on a budget. Little English spoken but staff happy to help with aid of google translate. Rooms small and clean. Only issue is it’s freezing as the hotel is open to the elements. There is hot air conditioning but it’s not brilliant

Good service and very polite for front desk service. Contain dinner and breakfast for free is best service. Food and drink is sufficient and delicious.
Onsen is clean and comfortable, water temperature is adequate. Very satisfactory for overall accommodation.

Not the regular type of hotel I usually book but find this is an interesting hotel with an atrium like open air corridor.
The only hotel that offers free dinner I ever stayed in (at least 300 around the world)
Breakfast is also included and offer lots of food.
Small public bath but hotel has a way to keep it not too crowded.
Small room with compact bathroom, providing all things that a traveler would need.
Heard the trains running but bearable, there was another noise from a machine outside that was louder.
Friendly and helpful staff, at front desk and at restaurant, good to feel that they are devoted in their jobs.
Except one, most staff do not speak English, but they tried their best to help. Thank you 😊🙏🏻

P/S the rooms would look more modern if the quilt cover is just in white or taupe cotton instead of the frilly pinkish cover :)

Best Cospa Location
This time I stayed at this hotel, which is famous for staying for less than 5,000 yen with two meals per night. We stayed on a busy day when both Sanfrecce and Carp games are held at night.
１．Check-in
There were reports that check-in would not start until 1600 punctually, and people waited 30 minutes as an bonus, but check-in started a little over 1600 years ago. I checked in at about 15 minutes, so I thought it wouldn't be such a problem. By the time I passed the front desk around 1800, there was already no line to check in.
２．Dinner
I went to the dining room at 1730 to watch the Sanfrecce game, which also seems to have started dinner five minutes before 1730. There were a fair amount of people trying to get dinner before the start of the baseball game, but it was rather free at this time of day. I chose curry, but it was just delicious.
３．Breakfast
It had a reputation for being extremely crowded, but we put it in as it was in front of the 0700 and had plenty of seats. It's like a normal refill, totally fine.
４．Elevator
I used the stairs most of the time because I was in a room on the fourth floor. But the elevator didn’t feel like a minute-long wait either.
This hotel is noted for its frequent waits due to its crowdedness in various situations, but in my case it is almost stress-free, having only waited a little at check-in. And if I get a reservation, I'm going to continue to use it actively.

Very convenient location. Normal breakfasts and dinners. Walking distance to the station and tram. The room is small.
