Retro Inn

This hotel is conveniently located near Kagoshima Chuo Station where both airport buses and JR lines are easily accessible.
The rooms are spacious and retro furnished, giving the impression of a mid-range European hotel.
The facilities are old, but there is no particular trouble.
If you are concerned, you can hear the noise of the next room and the sound of the water around so much that there are no walls.
If you are not nervous, I think it is a good inn for cospa.

70ies charm hotel. Tidy but a bit worn down. Low ceilings and dark wooden colors in the hallway. Had a room with blinded windows…No elevator at all, but friendly staff will help carrying heavy luggage upstairs (2nd floor). Street car stop is close in walking distance.

Be careful where you park.

I was able to stay at around 3,700 yen without meals probably because it is off season (but it was a non-refundable plan)
Since the dormitories in the surrounding area are between 1600 yen and 2700 yen per night, you can stay in an ordinary hotel by loading a little money, , When it came to, the sense of bargain was high
There is a kettle and refrigerator in the room. The room was clean and I had no problem staying at the hotel.
If you come by car, the parking lot behind the hotel is used (no charging facilities). The parking lot that is clearly visible from the street facing the hotel will be charged in units of 100 yen because it is open to the public (it was treated as temporary parking in my case and there was no assistance)

The German inspired style of the room and furniture was fun and interesting. There were some parts of the room that could be updated (There was a lamp shade that was cracked and the bathroom had some water damage). The shampoo/conditioner bar was so much fun as you got to pick which ones were your favorite and bring some to your room. The breakfast was also really good. The location is really close to the main station so it was easy to take public transfer to and from there.

Cospa is good.

It's very old on the outside, but renovated on the inside. The door is not auto-locked. The shower has somewhat low water pressure. The bath mat became useless once because the hot water flowed outside from the edge of the bathtub on the opposite side of the shower. It's a two-story building, but there's no elevator, so be careful if you have heavy luggage.
