The room is beautiful, with a great view
It was a high-rise on the Sakurajima side, but I had the best view of Sakurajima directly in front of me.
Also, the observation bath on the top floor is not large, but the view is still great
It was a very good stay.
Hotels in front of the station and in the city are also convenient, but there is also a shuttle bus to Kagoshima Chuo Station, so there is no problem.

Sakurajima seen from the public bath was powerful directly in front of me...
It is a city hotel with the scent of Showa because it is quite old. Assigned was a twin room on the 5th floor of the lower floor with a view of Sakurajima Island in front. However, it was unfortunate that the balcony was too narrow to enter and exit.
The public bath on the top floor was super packed and the washing area was also in line. I didn't relax because the dressing room was also very full because there were group guests of children staying there.
Beware that if the timing is bad, you will have to wait nearly 5 minutes because it is an old-fashioned one with only 3 elevators and slow speed.
Around 20:00, the elevator closed because Asian group customers checked in.
I went to the public bath in the morning, but I was able to calm down without as much congestion as at night. The sauna was reasonably large but had only one hourglass. I would like to have a clock installed for the sauna.
I went to the restaurant at the breakfast venue around 9am late, but it was almost full, probably because it was a holiday. It is unfortunate that we have seen many menus that are already out of stock.
As it is a long-established hotel, it seems that many locals use it, and it is often used as a venue for reunions and banquets, so there was a fair amount of coming and going even during the day.
It is not within walking distance to the city center (Chuo Station or Tenmonkan) and all the restaurants around the hotel will close around 21:00, so if you are particular about food and drink, you may want to opt for a hotel in the city center more.
The hotel will be tough to evolve further as there are rumors that it will be rebuilt in the near future, but it may be kind if there is some notice when group guests stay.
I thought that if you are staying here, you should choose weekdays, and aim for the public bath in the morning.
