A Home Away from Home at Soho Midtown Amman

Our stay at Soho Midtown Amman Hotel, Jordan was extremely wonderful and memorable for me and my group. This boutique hotel has a warm, welcoming charm that instantly makes you feel at home.
A very special thank you to Ahmed Khadhan, Rashed and Mohammad Khair Maraqa for their exceptional support and care throughout our stay. They genuinely went the extra mile with kindness, professionalism, and great attention to detail, making us feel comfortable and truly looked after.
The service, the staff, and the overall experience were outstanding, and I am very happy with everything. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amman and looking for comfort, heartfelt hospitality, and excellent service.

Good location, not so good service

The hotel is in a safe area, walking distance to restaurants, an ATM and a bodega. The staff were nice and there was a mini fridge. There were cons unfortunately. There wasn't any hair conditioner, no clothes hangers and you can't control the aircon. I asked if they could change it, they said they gave me access, but it never let me make the room cooler. I asked for hangers but never got them. The hair dryer is fixed to the wall, but it doesn't plug into the outlet so it's useless. The front desk gave me an adapter, which worked, but the hair dryer wouldn't work. Maintenence came and couldn't fix it so I had to go to another room to dry my hair. I ordered room service and was told it would take 30 min. After an hour I called and was told it was on the way, and then it immediately arrived, and the coffee wasn't hot.

I had a wonderful stay at Soho Midtown. The location was absolutely perfect—central to several casual restaurants and great coffee shops.
The highlight of my trip was definitely the service; Rami at the front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate. My room was spacious, incredibly clean, and the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in.
I will absolutely be staying here again the next time I am in town. Highly recommend!

Good location and staff

The positives: The staff are great - from front desk, security, houskeeping and restaurant - all were really friendly and helpful. The location is in a great place to walk around the old part of Amman - including a walk to the Citadel - however it is hilly so you need to be fit! Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was limited as the hotel had very few guests due to absurdities in the region and there was no buffet. However there was an omelet on offer and it was great - so was the coffee. The negatives: The room has no control of the aircon - it is a central system and the room was hot making it slightly uncomfortable for sleep. Also there are no amenities just hand wash at the basin or body wash in the shower. No shampoo, or anything else.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well organized. The location was also very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!
