My first and definitely not the last ..

It was a wonderful and blissful experience in the hotel. Everything was just right from the room furnishings, decor (blending art and craft with the hotel’s ambience) and service. At times, I just had no interest to explore the city except to stay and luxuriate by the hotel.
Service was attentive, prompt and patient with the housekeeping and f&b side. Breakfast served a wide variety of dishes. The Chinese restaurant was great. I thought the Japanese one could have been better.
Swimming pool was divine. Gym is well equipped.
Location wise - don’t seem to have that many shopping malls and restaurants around.
Well, cannot wait to try the other rosewoods in other cities now.

Wonderful Trip

Our stay at Rosewood Phnom Penh from April 24–26 was truly memorable. Thank you to Mona, Daneth, Sa, and Chamnol from the Guest Service team for all the thoughtful preparations for my friend’s birthday and for making every moment feel so special.
A big thank you as well to Broney, Srey Ny, Lyly, Rotha, and the Front Office team for taking such great care of our group throughout the 3 days and 2 nights. Your kindness, warm hospitality, and support made our trip even more enjoyable. We really appreciate all the effort and hope to come back again soon

A business hotel with flaws that nobody wants to talk about.

A disclaimer before you read the review: The hotel offered me two forms of compensation: a bottle of champagne and a voucher for a two-night stay at hotels in cities I will never visit. Understandably, I declined both.
Here we go: I like Rosewood Hotels. However, only the newer ones. The reason: The older properties are either not maintained or updated at all or only superficially.
In Phnom Pen, what was once considered "minimalist, homely chic" now looks like the furnishings of a semi-detached house in a Parisian suburb.
This particular hotel is more of a good choice for business travelers, less so for guests who also like to spend time in their rooms.
I belong to the latter category, and these are just a few examples of why it could be challenging for you:
Since its opening eight years ago, the hotel has clearly had a problem with the air conditioning, confirmed by staff members.
It's either switched off, boiling hot or freezing cold whenever you enter your room. The temperature can only be adjusted with the help of a maintenance technician. A challenge for rooms and suites located in a glass-fronted high-rise in a country with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius.
While temperatures rose to almost 25 degrees at night I ended up sleeping on the sofa for two nights (didn't really help, no sleep).
The rooms are cluttered with light switches that are neither at eye level nor identifiable after dark (as they are unlit), making them impossible to operate. Homeowners with a penchant for tech gadgets will be delighted.
Tip: If you want to connect your devices to the TV, bring all the cables you've already stored, as wireless connections are not available. Don't expect soundbars either.
One of Rosewood's strengths is its diverse and carefully curated culinary offerings—and this, it seems, is also the brand's main focus.
In contrast, the "Rosewood Breakfast," at least in the hotels I visited, is rather basic, though the quality is acceptable. However, the fact that water isn't included in the already limited beverage selection is disappointing.
Nevertheless: Take your company credit card, treat your partners to dinner, and then impress them with a fantastic whiskey at the bar.
For everyone else: Book a room at the Raffles.

While I am grateful for your openness in raising your concerns directly while in-house, I sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations during your time with us. We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Rosewood. I had a highly unconventional and challenging request for the table decorations, but the team executed it flawlessly and did an outstanding job. Rosewood is still my favorite city hotel in the world!

One of the best city hotels.

One of the best city hotels! Very nicely designed and top equipped rooms on the upper floors. Roof Top Bar with sensational views. Top equipped fitness center, large pool with views and great SPA. Very good location to many attractions and the Central Market. Exceptionally friendly and well trained staff.
