How disappointed I am in Cambodia!

The hotel is in disrepair, most of the grounds are abandoned, the beach is sort of cleaned up, but only the leaves, the garbage is left lying! There are a lot of locals on weekends, the sea stinks of sewerage, at the end of the swim, in front of the pier, the sewerage canal flows, the air conditioning in the room is very loud, and the noise of the motor, not the air. Near the hotel is a huge Chinese construction site that works around the clock, you hear this noise all the time, lying on the beach, sitting in your room. Also near the hotel is the waterfront, where music festivals are held, very loud music plays until 1am, and it's legal, you can't sleep, the bass shudders inside! The staff is helpful and friendly, there is no comment on their work, but can do nothing, as the whole bacchanal is approved by the city government. Weddings are also held on the property, the music is also very loud, but at 23:00 they turn off. Sihanoukville is not a place I would go back to, would have nightmares. The city is very dirty, rats run, garbage lies in piles along the tratoirs, there are homeless people, tourists only Chinese and local, in 3 hours walk through the city center in the evening have not met a single European. Everything is geared towards the Chinese, all around casinos and Chinese signs, cash payments almost everywhere, cards are not accepted, apparently due to money laundering! If you, like us, are thinking where to go to the sea after Siem Reap for a peaceful holiday on the coast, in no case choose Sihanoukville, you will regret this choice!!! You can eat at the hotel, it's a problem in town,
The food is Chinese-oriented, very hard to eat properly. There are abandoned construction sites all over town. The picture is very sad.
It's a shame I bought non-refundable plane tickets, and I would have left Sihanoukville after the first sleepless night!!!

Extremely poor customer service

My wife and I tried to book here. When we went to their website to make a reservation, we were redirected to a third party site, (Priceline.com), where we mistakenly entered the wrong days. Twenty minutes later we realized we entered the wrong dates so attempted to change the dates by contacting them. Upon speaking with a representative, my wife was told the hotel would not modify the dates. She explained we entered the wrong dates, and so there was a miscommunication and they canceled the reservation. Once it was canceled, we could not get a refund and no change of days, so we am out the $472.81. The hotel contact phone number is impossible to thru to so I can't even speak with them.

My visit to this hotel

When I First arrived I noticed how nice the staff was. The food also tasted amazing and the pool was georgues i also got massage wich was vary good and the gym has everything you need. And the beach is so clean and beautiful. If you don’t know were to go for your next trip i recommend this hotel.

Fine for 1 night

Resort is quite large, people use golf carts to bring.je to their restaurant. Which is a pity that the entire environment is occupied by Chinese. Mega hotels, lots of Chinese restaurants. You really think you're here in China. During our trip the hotel was almost deserted. Live music at night, but no audience. Breakfast fine, room fine, pool fine. Hotel is located fifteen minutes from the port / ferry to Koh Rong. We would opt for a hotel closer to the port and not in this all-Chinese neighborhood
