This is the best hotel

More quiet environment than any other banff hotel.
Many wild animal lives near, maybe you encounters them.
They gave us free bus ticket available within banff, so it was easy to go downtown.
The stuff is very kind to us.(Japanese)

Buffalo Mountain Lodge - A Well Appointed, Beautiful Place to Stay.

A wonderful lodge, tucked away amongst the beautiful Tunnel Mountain area. Close enough to walk to the town of Banff but far enough away for peace and quiet. The main lodge is beautiful and inviting to sit in front of the fire to enjoy a nightcap after a day of adventure in the Banff area. Our room was clean and lovely for sleep. Overall, this is a beautiful, affordable, place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Check in was quick and easy. They do give an actual key rather than a key card. We got upgraded to a junior suite from a king room which was nice to have the extra space. There is a hot tub which we enjoyed one night. They also provide a 3 day bus pass. We were there 3 nights. We had breakfast there one day as well which was good. The only thing I didn’t realize is that there is no AC but the room cools down at night so it wasn’t an issue for us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.

Our well appointed rustic cabin was directly across from the office, restaurant and hot tub, which was very nice. Friendly staff, free bus stop, fabulous hot tub. Beautiful scenery. Great choice for my lady and myself

We arrived at 2am after having a flight cancelled. We appreciated email reassurance that reception staff would be there to check us in.
Room was fabulous! Restaurant was stylish, food was excellent and service was wonderful.
The nicest hotel of our 6 nights
