Fantastic oasis in busy Vancouver

Point Grey Guest House was a wonderful haven for us during a recent trip to Vancouver. The owner, Georgia, is just lovely! The rooms we stayed in was well-appointed. Point Grey is walking distance to several beaches and a forest, as well as lovely shops and restaurants. Such a wonderful esperience!

Lovely, clean and homey place

My husband and I loved staying at Point Grey House. Georgia is a wonderful hostess and the breakfasts are delicious. We stayed 3 different times while our daughter was at UBC, 2018, 2019, 2020. Since she has graduated, we wanted to stay during a separate visit but unfortunately, we can't book just one night. I guess we 'll just have to stay longer next time!

Very nice stay

I really enjoyed my stay with Georgia. The room was cozy and clean. I was told ahead of time that the room may be noisier due to its location - but I slept great each night and had no issues whatsoever. The bed was very comfortable as well. The house is right by the bus stop which helped me get around during my stay - it was really nice how convenient this was. Georgia was also very welcoming and helpful and I felt at home during my stay. I would stay here again if I came back.

Private - calming peaceful retreat in the centre of Vancouver - easy access Everywhere.

From the time of arrival to the time we checked out we were treated royally. Georgia ensured that we had whatever we required to make our stay special and she was available if required but unobtrusive which is our preference when travelling. We stayed in the garden suite which we enjoyed as it was private - we could cook our own meals and come and go as we pleased. The convenience of the express buss No 99 along 10th Ave was terrific - took us to the Skytrain and from there we could travel anywhere in the lower mainland. Compass Pass for Seniors is excellent - only $2.10 per trip excluding rush hour - - there are 3 zones which cost for each - but certainly the ONLY way to travel in Vancouver - traffic is never ending. Its very close to the beaches and the sunsets on the beach are amazing.

Beautiful home & wonderful host!

Georgia is a wonderful host and gave us some excellent spots to explore. Her guest house is extremely clean and homey. Our bed was huge and super comfortable and the room was just delightful. Georgia is a wonderful person and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her in passing on our way in and out of the house. You can tell instantly that a lot of love went into this home and it is decorated beautifully. We hope to see Georgia again on our travels as she made our trip to Vancouver. Thanks again Georgia, we shall think of you when we walk the locks back in England xxx
