Lovely accommodation, great food, beautiful bonfire

Great place to stay if passing thru Nairobi. Safe, quiet, green and a very homely feeling. Really worth going. Attention paid to detail. We loved the Game of Scrabble by the bonfire

Tropical paradise close to the city and attractions!

WOW! What an incredible accommodation! The cottages are absolutely superb, accessed by a winding path through tropical greenery. Birdsong fills the air and we were able to watch amethyst sunbirds, weavers, hadada ibis, bulbuls and black headed orioles from just outside the front door! Inside the cottage there was everything that one would require for a most comfortable stay: a massive bed, kettle with tea/coffee, water, fridge, a fan unit, netted windows to keep out any mosquitos, a large bathroom (with both bath and shower!), and ample space to relax in. There is a tremendous restaurant and bar on site and my wife and I, who are both vegetarian, enjoyed splendid evening meals and a large and varied breakfast (cereals, eggs, toast, yoghurt, tea and coffee etc.) There is also a plant filled front garden with a lawn which is visited by a friendly warthog family! We also enjoyed finding chamleons amongst the foliage. The staff are incredibly friendly, so welcoming and helpful. Patrick is an absolute star and a joy to converse with! Mercy was equally delightful and nothing was any trouble for any of them. We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we could have stayed longer. An incredible accommodation, close to the giraffe centre (walkable in 15 minutes) and only a 10 minute (cheap - less than £2!) taxi ride from Karen Blixen's house/museum and also perfect for Nairobi National Park and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. A tremendous accommodation and extremely highly recommended.

Great Location, Wonderful Stay

We stayed in a one bedroom en suite room. Everything was spotless, the service was great, ad the breakfast (3 choices) was good. We felt safe walking to the Giraffe sanctuary and a nearby restaurant that is in a shopping mall that also has a grocery store.

One night

Stayed here for a night with 5 people before our safari started and was very happy. Nice cabin very friendly people got in after midnight and welcomed us and got us to our room very quickly. Nice breakfast. We Would definitely come back again .

Gorgeous cabins, amazing staff, in a beautiful area!

Absolutely lovely, spacious wooden cabins with a country Western theme, nestled in the beautiful Karen neighborhood! We loved it so much that we went back when our travel plans changed, and the staff greeted us like family and friends. The food is delicious, landscaping is gorgeous, cabins are cozy, and staff are amazing hosts. Highly recommend for a peaceful escape from the busy city!
