Another excellent stay

Just back from these amazing family apartments. Needed this break more than ever! Everyone here from the cleaning staff to the whole family look after you like their own. If you need anything they will make it happen. Apartments are everything you need. Close to restaurant, bars, the seafront and shops. If you need to relax this is the place. Will be back later this season

Yet another great visit

If i recall this is our 5th time here and we are back in July with friends, everything about the location, the apartments, the team and the wider family is just on point!
Food is really nice and the pool area is exceptional, the family have that sense of pride you can only want from any business and we love every single visit!
Even when I fell and spilt my head open they came out after hours to support my partner and me, all my own doing by the way! Nothing is a bother to them and can't wait to come back for our 6th visit in July, Pagona Team you're the best......

Check in was easy, even for a late arrival and the instructions to get there were really really good. Staff are amazingly helpful. Room was lovely and good location for nightlife, restraints and bars. Lots of good things provided like complimentary coffee and honesty bar at the pool as well as a box of suncream/after sun as the shops are ridiculously expensive when you've ran out on the last day.

Pagona apartments pathos

cant fault this little gem at all, just back from a week at the apartments with my family .we all enjoyed the stay , apartment was spacious with everything we needed. the staff were all excellent . peaceful and relaxed atmosphere . pool was great and so refreshing from the mid day heat.. the bar staff were great ,the cocktails were great and the food was great. all in all a very good experience and would highly recommend the pagona apartments for your stay and close to the harbour area , and if you like a good indian dish the curry house is just a few minutes walk and well worth the visit,,,the saddest part was having to come back to the cold ,wet irish weather.

Unsafe, Hostile and Discriminatory – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs

We stayed at Pagona Holiday Apartments in August 2025. What happened there was one of the most stressful travel experiences of our lives.
On the night of August 12th, at 22:07, we briefly walked through a children’s paddling pool to cool off in the heat. It was not swimming, just a short moment of passing through. The owner did not react at the pool – he stopped us later at the entrance to our room, and from that point the nightmare began.
We were ordered to leave the hotel within one hour, “with the clock ticking.” We heard “GET OUT!” shouted at us repeatedly. The owner cut off our electricity, threatened to call security, and when I asked him to call the police, he refused, saying directly that “the police would be on his side because he is local.”
Booking.com, with whom we immediately contacted, confirmed the recordings from that night. The owner was recorded during a call with the consultant, clearly threatening us, shouting, and behaving aggressively. I want to emphasize: we speak fluent English, we were sober and calm, and we tried to solve the situation rationally. It was the owner who escalated the conflict.
After reviewing the recordings, Booking.com acknowledged our complaint, refunded us for the unused nights, and covered the difference in costs of our new accommodation. This is clear proof that the owner had no legal right to evict us and that we were right.
Even worse, the owner’s behavior included elements of discrimination – he made comments about our nationality and age, even comparing us to Afghans in a derogatory way.
We were expelled in the middle of the night, during peak season, with no real chance of finding another place to stay. We had to book a new hotel immediately, at much higher cost, while feeling unsafe and threatened. For two people it was very stressful, but for a family with children this could have been an absolute disaster.
In summary: I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. No respect for guests, threats, refusal to call the police, cutting off electricity, and discriminatory behavior. This is not a place where you can feel safe.
