Wonderful

Aside from the pool, which allowed me to stay cool and relax before my flight at 10 PM, I really enjoyed my time here. Certainly, the rooms are not the most modern, but there is air conditioning and, above all, you are close to almost everything. I used the Tomb of Kings stop a lot. Friendly and helpful owner.

Panklitos Apartments

Spent 3 nights here. The apartments seem to be undergoing a slow renovation, there is some evidence of ongoing alterations in communal areas. Our room looked like it had been updated relatively recently. The room itself was fine apart from the shower curtain didn’t extend all the way around the shower tray. The neighbourhood is a bit grim if you don’t get a room facing the pool because of the building site opposite the front of the apartments. In conclusion, this is an ok place to stay if you have a hire car (as it’s a bit out of the centre of Paphos) and only plan on being here for sleeping.

If you need a Spacious Room with your own bathroom & kitchenette in a reasonable rate, this apartment is good to stay.

This address Alvertou 7, if its your 1st time in Cyprus, its not easy to find. I got the room at the ground floor, it was December, of course it was colder, but the 1 sliding window was open and make the room colder. No one explained about heating in the room, maybe theres none. The only thing I wondered, that the last day of my stay , someone might got inside my room and forgot to lock the door. ( its an old key system). Its my „HABIT“ i always double check the door if i lock it, like in my own house, thats why I was asking myself, how can that happen.

I do not recommend

The space itself was nice but the blankets smelled badly, the air conditioning was paid (7€ per day), the water was never hot and the autoclimate worked pretty badly

Worst place to stay in Cyprus

We booked a studio as we planned to leave our bags there and just go out for the day as a group of 6 adults and a baby. When we arrived we were met by an aggressive woman at the reception who was shouting at us and telling us that English people do what they want etc. We were calm throughout the whole situation and advised the lady that if that was her policy we apologise and we will just take the refund and leave. She continued to shout at us despite me saying I understand what she is saying and we were not aware of the policy’s as we have done this several times at other places with no problems. Whilst she was trying to contact the owner l checked booking.com and there was an additional 4 person room available so I booked that and paid for it. The woman was so aggressive and it was like she wanted an argument but we are just not that kind of group. We weren’t gonna use any of the facilities as we went out for most of the day but as we’d paid the extra we decided to try the pool which was okay, not too busy. The rooms however were awful, so if you’re staying for longer than a night then I’d go to a much better hotel/apartment.
The man on reception of an afternoon/evening was friendly and helped us book a taxi.
We were in the area for a total of 9 hours and spent most of that out for lunch, dinner and at the tombs of kings.
Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
