Equity Point Budapest
My stay at Equity Point Budapest was pleasant. The staffs were very helpful, lovely, kind and understanding. The location is very central to Budapest city centre and tourist hot spots. It has amazing facilities, the rooms are spacious, clean amenities, plus cooling air-conditioning. Just one stop to the transports that gets you to the airport. If there is Equity Point Budapest any where in the world I will recommend you go there!

Luggage room is a joke with no safety measures. The blankets received were stained. The bed was uncomfortable. Location was very good. Staff is very friendly but they lost me when we asked for blankets and the ones received were not clean.

The room is just average. The staff are great. Did not use laundrying and A/C since it's still cold.

We won't come again and neither should you
We are 4 friends who have gone and now we are on our way home from Budapest. We all go to high school, so we went for a cheap SU-friendly vacation.
We found this hostel and booked a 4 man room with toilet (+there stood it was recently renovated... THAT WAS NOT THAT) for just over 2000kr per person for a week
The bathroom: When we arrived there was “made clean.” There were many little black hairs on the bath curtain and in the bathtub, which, in addition, could not swallow the bath water, so you stood in a lake of dirt when you were in the bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was full of something that looked like a mushroom.
We got a toilet paper roll for the week, and when it was empty, and we asked for another one, we got rejected that room service would come with a new one, and we got a small roll until then. Room service never came with a refilling of the toilet paper.
The room: The room had an ok size, but there was no refrigerator as stated on the website.
There were no curtains either!!! So the whole neighborhood could watch when we were changing clothes.
We had a room with bunk beds, where there was a very tricky ladder up- luckily for us we are agile, but for people who do not have forced sports on the schedule, bed situation could well become a challenge.
The service: was present sometime? It looked like many young people who controlled it, but often they just sat on the sidewalk and vaped (although it is illegal in Hungary?) for some time when the reservation just stood empty.
The location of the hotel is really good, however, and it is the location that gives the 1 star - the rest do not really deserve some.

This was a great stay for the price! We stayed two nights and really just wanted a private room to sleep. Check in was easy, rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hostel!
