Nice hotel and friendly staff

The hotel looks like a big landhouse and has probably about 25 rooms. The rooms where classic but nice. The breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly. The direct neighborhood is boring with a few restaurants on walking distance but no action after 10pm.

Lovely hotel from outside only

The hotel from outside & Gardens is lovely. The staff are friendly & helpful.
However what let’s this hotel down is the standard of service. We arrived Monday & left Friday. I had to ask for clean towels, because our room was not cleaned.
In the whole of our stay the sheets were not changed, or the towels.
It’s the first time I have stayed anywhere that our room has not been touched!!!
The beds are hard & very noisy and there is no air conditioning, in may was not a big problem, but could be in summer.
Breakfast is basic, cereals, tinned fruit, yoghurt, bread, meats, cheese.
Hot food is scrambled egg/sausages although sufficient.
The constant coffee/tea in reception is available at breakfast however you have to ask at other times of the day & reception closes at 10pm.
I took my own kettle however there is no fridge in the rooms.
So has to buy milk daily or take from reception.
The tram is right outside, however note you have to buy a ticket from the main station, cannot buy from hotel.
Ticket can be used on tram, bus & underground, although you can buy a different (Budapest card) to use and for discount to attractions in pest.
There is a local restaurant & supermarket, a short walk to other restaurants as well.
Cheap to stay here, but I think they cut costs by not having enough staff. Cleaner cleaned reception area but that’s all.
I think it is a shame given the surroundings, and if standards were higher, a fridge in room and air conditioning it would be perfect.

Welcome with two dogs, nice room, very good breakfast!

First we were a bit curious, if the Hotel would reflect the younger, sometimes bad evaluations here. It fortunately didn't. First of all we were welcomed with our two dogs for an extra fee of 10 Euros, which isn't self evident for a Hotel. The room was nice and big enough. OK. There was a rusty spot on our shower bath and the toilet seat that wasn't repaired during our stay (New Years Eve and New Years Day) even though it had a crack (we fortunatley had some duct tape). The room was far too warm and no regulation at the heating.
The breakfast was great and fun. Loads of fresh fruit, perfect scrabled eggs, cheese and yoghurt and last but not least: The best (included) hotel coffee I had in Budapest yet. And they had 5 types of sausages and mulled wine for free for breakfast (sic!). On New Years morning the breakfast time was prolonged for actually as long as one wanted. A nice stay altogether. Bus and tram just stop at the frontdoor. Taxi to downtown Pest were about 7 to 10 Euros depending where you went.
Some of the staff wasn't very service friendly (blond tall guy). He didn't bring our luggage to the room even though they had half a day to do so.
Other staff was nice and friendly all the time. All in all we slept well in comfy beds, the shower was working and the coffee was just perfect! 3,6 of 5 points, so a 4 at the edge of a 3. Have a nice stay and enjoy the good coffee! ;-)

Calm garden area

Calm garden area on Buda side in the middle of villas.
You can eat breakfast in the garden.
The car is in safety in the free hotel parking.
The bus is perfect, every 5 minutes direct to the heart of the city

In tranzit

For traveling in Italy it was a good stop. The hotel is located near Buda, with facilities for all needs according 3 stars hotel. Breakfast is ok for everyone. Near the hotel thereare a good restaurant. No complain for anything.
