Very enjoyable

Very nice place, friendly and helpful service by Suhel, clean and tasty food!
The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is very nice. Beach towels are provided and they have lounge chairs at the bikini beach. Very close to the ferry, 5 min to the Bikini beach.

Wonderful trip

We just back to Thailand from Maldives trip. It’s amazing trip ever. We contacted the hotel few months before and got helpful infomation so we can plan it properly and transfer go and back airport-Gilhi. Everything was so easy for us. Thank you Ali for his help and the staffs at Tropic Tree who help us on the island and they gave us more info even where to see sharks atnight near the hotel and that was our first experience being very close to the sharks. We went fishing it was fun and all fish we got the hotel staffs grilled for us. Hope to visit Gulhi again and sure we will stay at Tropic Tree where we feel like home.

Excellent

Loved our stay at the hotel. Was well for the money's worth. The hotel was very technological friendly giving us the "Netflix & Chill" upon our stay and giving a homely vibe which we loved. We specifically love the staff Sohail from tropic tree, he was available at all times and was very accommodating and took care of all our requests including the smallest ones as well and was very friendly. The food was very delicious.

Friendly service like home

Friendly staffs with warm welcome. We stayed 2 nights there in 2 neat and clean rooms. Everything easy even for our 5 yeared-old son. We booked speedboat with the hotel and everything was wonderful. It’s located on walking distance to bikini beach. Food at the hotel also very nice.

There are two dedicated bikini beaches in Gulhi where visitors can wear bikini or similar swimwear. In local inhabited islands, the government regulations require that visitors or locals do not wear bikini or similar swimwear while in the public areas. Please note the following information regarding transfer/journey from Male International Airport to Tropic Tree Hotel Maldives at Gulhi Island. Please share your flight details with the property at least 3 days before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer. The property can be reached by: 1- A public ferryboat: Arranged by the guest Ferryboat takes around 80 minutes to reach Gulhi Island Ferryboat departs from Villingili Ferry Terminal (MTCC terminal) in Malé at 15:00 Return ferry departs from Gulhi Island at 08:00 If your flight lands after 13:00, you miss the ferryboat, or you arrive on Fridays, you may wish to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to spend the night in Malé. Please note that there are no ferry services on Fridays 2- Chartered Speedboat: Arranged by the hotel The speedboat takes 30 minutes to reach Gulhi Island Advance booking is required for speedboat transfers Please inform Tropic Tree Hotel Maldives in advance of your expected arrival time.
