Kasbah Blanca

Lovely Riad, not far from the Kasbah Museum and The Interzone Shop. Excellent views from the terrace.
We were well looked after. Great breakfast.

2 nights stopover in Tanger. Not impressed sadly

Our room was next to the kitchen on the top floor, the noisiest, so no chance of any quiet time, the bed rock hard, the toilet wobbled when you sat down, the bathroom window had to stay shut as it was overlooked by the staircase to the roof seating area. So disappointed as the reviews of this place were supposedly good.
It is a quaint place, however Breakfast was very scant, 2 pieces of cucumber, barely a teaspoon of soft cheese, 2 slices of tomato, 1 fried egg. I am gluten free so can't eat the bread, ended up going elsewhere and getting food.
The yoghurt was also not much to write home about, large glass & hardly anything presented in it.
Overall disappointed
Thankfully only here 2 nights.
The lamp in our room is so wobbly as well
It looks like it will fall over at any given moment

Good location. Excellent staffs

Its in a very good location. Good rooftop view with good breakfast. Staffs are warm and very accommodating especially Allal who patiently waited for us at the Port. Allan also drive us to scenic areas. He us very helpful and very hard-working. Highly recommended

OK for a short time but a longer stay may prove challenging

Although the Kasba Blanca was OK for us for one night in Tangier before our flight home, I don't think I would have wanted to stay there for more than a couple of nights. The main reason for this was the small size of the room, the lack of any storage space and the very cramped bathroom. The bathroom was particularly bad as the shower soaks the whole floor but there is absolutely nowhere to put anything where it won't get wet. There are no shelves at all and nowhere around the sink for toiletries etc. It was quite an unpleasant experience using it.
That said, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked (useful as 'white noise' as I suspect it gets noisy when they are busy) and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was fine with a good view out over Tangier.
