Great location, friendly and helpful staff especially the housekeeping staff. Some common areas like elevator and bathroom tiles need updating. The room was very big, clean and updated. I was there when there was major construction going on

The Elevators Were on Vacation Too

Overall, I'd give this hotel about 3.5 stars. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and our oceanfront balcony was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Check-in was easy, and the hotel itself is small but functional, with two small pools, a bar, and a convenient little market in the parking lot right next door.
The biggest selling point is the location. It's close enough to walk to North Beach, restaurants, shopping, golf cart rentals, and some of the best spots on the island. We loved starting each morning at Cafe Mogagua, just a couple blocks away. Amazing breakfast and Cafe Americano
A few things to know before booking: the staff was pleasant but not nearly as warm and attentive as what we experienced elsewhere on Isla Mujeres - who seem to be dedicated to a service lifestyle. At times it felt like we were an inconvenience to them, while just asking some basic questions, which was frustrating because I take where I spend my money very seriously.
Also it should be noted that during our stay, both elevators were out of service. Normally that wouldn't be a huge deal, but we were on the top floor and after a full day of walking in the June heat (and perhaps a few tequilas), those stairs felt a lot taller than advertised. In fact, I managed to tweak my ankle on one of the uneven steps—an adventure that probably could have been avoided with a working elevator and slightly better decision-making on my part.
On a final note, we did receive massages at the small place connected to the Mint resort on the first floor and the lady there was lovely and the price was very affordable. I would highly recommend if in the area.
If you're looking for a clean, reasonably priced boutique style hotel in a great location, this place does the job and will meet expectations. If you are looking for an over the top experience or have high travel expectations, this might not be your vibe. And If you do stay, Just be sure to pack a portable fan if you tend to sleep hot and be sure to rent the golf cart. It was 100% worth it and I would do it again every time!

Very nice experience!!

We only went for one night, but it was a very nice experience. We stayed in a room with an ocean view that, in addition to the sound of the waves, gave us a wonderful sunrise.
The pools were very clean and well located. The rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean.
The best thing about the hotel is its staff. Super attentive and on top of every detail. I want to highlight the girls at the front desk. Very professional and pleasant.

Very friendly staff, room was very large and clean. Only complaint was the elevator was very slow but we used the stairs most of the time.

It’s a very nice place to stay, the staff was amazing!
The bedrooms are very spacious and clean. The pool is small, but very clean and with a gorgeous view.
Even though the hotel is right by the beach, you cannot access it. It’s very rocky right by the hotel.
But in a 8 min walk you are in North Beach and it’s perfect!
