new room

the hotel is very beautiful and the room is still new compared to the other hotel that i have stay in mandalay this is the most new room for me the staff very kind and the breakfast is good with good view , the electric cut off but its come back very fast

The hotel lobby is very clean and really nice looking and the hotel staff is wonderful. They’re all very friendly, very welding and very professional. Everyone spoke English and was eager to help. When I got to my reserved room the smell of cigarettes was way too strong so they came became with 3 different room keys and proceeded to show me other options. This in my opinion is EXCELLENT customer service.
Pros: staff is amazing, and the upstairs breakfast buffet was good. The dining room is really nice and the views from the 10th floor are great. Asian style breakfast but still tasty. Pricing of the rooms are also very reasonable and the rooms are VERY clean.
Cons: sleeping at night was very difficult because the other customers on my floor were drunk and continuously came knocking on my door and ringing my doorbell. Fortunately, the staff was wonderful enough to come upstairs and talk to them.
Overall, I’d stay here again. Hopefully they will re-open the skybar and restaurant in the evenings during high season.

Good value

Only stayed 1 night but would use this spot again when back in Mandalay. Staff very helpful and nice rooftop location for breakfast. Rooms were clean. Not much around the hotel but transport is readily accessible.

Extremely helpful staff

As a solo traveler it is much appreciated when people are so helpful, the staff at The Home Hotel were brilliant, especially the ladies on reception. They answered my many questions, organised an excellent guide, Koyar, who I spent 2 days with, he was very knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and curtious. They also stored my luggage for 2 days whilst I went to Bagan. One of the ladies even offered to take my postcard to the post office for me as it was on her way home. Thank you for making my trip to Mandalay easy.
